Unfortunately dogs are considered property, but hopefully he will NEVER be returned to his "owners". http://www.dogsdeservebetter.org/doogie.html |

Hopefully he can recover, he doesn't look good at all. That is just horrible how people do this.
A few years ago I was looking to get a puppy, specifically we were looking at Keeshond back then. I went to a womans house who had a 6 mth old Keeshond cross. She had to move, was getting divorced and was moving into an apt that didn't allow dogs. What was she doing with the dog...keeping her chained in the backyard....she was already moved into the apt...30 min away. She did come once a day to give her food and water...but this was a 6mth old puppy. I didn't want to own her, but I made arangements to foster her while she finsihed moving and she could continue to advertise for a new home. I wasn't sure how Rob would feel, so I had to say 1 mth, and after that she would go to the spca for placement. The dog did get a new home, with a new family. She was mostly border collie, not Keeshond. |
Poor Doogie! |
Just disgusting, I hope you win and keep him. Best wishes and every success for the rights of this dog. |
OMG that is just awful... made me sick to see... I'm so glad they took him, and I really hope this gets a ton of publicity and that she wins.... |
I sent it to one of the tv stations. |
This has indeed received lots of publicity! Inside Edition is on top of it. And best of all, Doogie is up and walking around!
