New Jersey OES Specialty
I'm proud to report that on Friday, Toby took Winner's Dog and got another point toward his championship. Not too exciting, not high numbers for competition but a point is a point! Well, today the entry was great! This was the actual day of the specialty and there were dogs from everywhere entered. I'm not sure of the exact numbers but around 20 dogs and 10 bitches, give or take. Today's report: Toby took Reserve Winner's Dog!! WooHoo!!! No points involved in second place but with that many dogs entered that is officially amazing!! He was a naughty sheepdog in the ring too. (He was actually a jerk but I forgave him since he took a placement.  ) I really hope nobody took any pics of us when she pointed to us. I'm pretty sure that the look on my face was shock! 
On to the really exciting stuff. For first place in Open dogs we won a very nice embroidered bath towel and for Reserve Winners we got an embroidered canvas tote. Gotta love rosettes AND prizes. On the other side of the coin, stupid Suzi (my houseguest from last month) won Winner's Bitch today. She now has both of her majors and 8 points. Stupid girl dogs!!! Just kidding, we'll give a WooHoo to Suzi too. She comes back at the end of the month just in time to go to the National. I'll have to see what pictures were captured as soon as my battery charges. Since my new digital is in the shop, VerveUp was kind enough to try and use my super old digital camera. I might even have to take pics of the prizes since they were pretty cool! The New Jersey club did a really nice job with the specialty too! |

| Sounds like you've had an amazing weekend so far!! That's fantastic to take Reserve Winners with such a big entry... and the point on the other day is exciting! I love points... LOL... even one... I'd be on cloud nine, I always am when I win. LOL
