Welcome from Dartmouth Nova Scotia!!!
Casper sure his handsome.. and so is his purple bunny |
Welcome from NC. Caspar is soooooooo cute!!!! Gim him hugs and kisses from all of us. |
He's so sweet! And, from what you were talking about in the other thread, he sounds like he's a very smart boy and catching on to potty training really well. I wish I had had the same experience!
Clyde used to have a bunny just like that but he ate the face off and it looked like something out of a horror film. Be careful-- they eat the eyes! |
Yes, I'm a little paranoid about stuffed animals as they fall apart. He's pretty gentle so far - it won't be long before he can disassemble things. The eyes are really deeply embedded, but I know I have to get him some 'safe' toys soon - this one is just cute for pictures. I always watch him with it. Well I have one but you know how it goes - household items are much more interesting than store brought hard pet safe toys! My mom's dog ate a pair of underwear once (tiny ones) so I know it can cause issues like major surgery!
I took back my puppy pads and we're just doing crate training and going outside just about every hour. Thank god I am home now to do this. I go back to work in a few weeks though. I will be bringing him with but it will be more of a challenge. I am thinking maybe Jaspar now..not caspar. |
Gorgeous puppy! Love his eyes. I love the name Jasper. |
Welcome! Your puppy is just adorable! How fun to bring your dog to work!!! |
He's so cute. I love his markings. It looks like he has one shoe on and one shoe off. Welcome! |
G'day from Australia, cute little man, love the name caspar. |
Hey I have a sister who lives in Eugene. Not to mention I grew up in a small town near there and went to Eugene all the time! Sigh I wish I was there instead of Arizona. I miss the trees, rain, green grass, ocean, snow, well, ok, EVERYTHING!!!
I digress, welcome welcome. |
Look at those double blues! Wow! Those could melt your heart.
Welcome! Been married to an OSU grad for many decades, of course when he attended it was still called OSC......I guess those beavers just turned the "C" sideways. |
Welcome Jane! |
I came here for school too - grad school. It is all they bragged about -greenery, mountains, flowers - we have roses in the backyard til December no kidding. Rain isn't that bad. I was born and raised in MI, so it beats the snow, ice, salt, hail, and humidity. Don't plan on ever leaving. Hippies rule!
At least in AZ your dog will always stay pristine and clean...I am wondering how it will be with a muddly dog every morning when the rain comes...ugh. I wonder if I can teach him to go on the toilet. He's doing so well now anything is possible. Does anyone know how to get pine sap out of dog hair? Time for a new post... |
Welcome Jane to the Forum. I am another MI transplant, now living in Florida. Your pup is beautiful. Looking forward to hearing about your little guys antics.

Welcome from southern MN!
I vote for Casper or Caspar. I have a friend with a min pin named Jasper, so I guess that affects my choice. Pine sap - that's a bad one. I tried everything when one of our lab pups got some on him. I think it had to grow out/be brushed out over time. I learned not to use the shade under a pine tree for a puppy - the hard way! |
Pine Sap: first freeze it with ice cube and scrape what you can. Then try rubbing alcohol. Lastly try Googone or WD40. Of course the last two will need to be washed out......I'd use Dawn dish detergent.
Don't allow the sap to say, hot spots will develop under the coat. |
Welcome from the California Desert! |
Welcome to the forum! Casper/Jasper is just GORGEOUS!! Just look at those eyes!! |
Welcome to the forum from Norway |
Belated Welcome! Sorry, Thought I had welcomed you already. |
Hi,
Even more belated welcome from me. "Welcome!" whew there now I've said it. What did you decide? I like the name Caspar too. I'm not to far from you..located in BC so just above you on the map. Nice to see someone from the West Coast. Looking forward to stories about your very cute pup. Marianne and the boys |
