Ollie needs to faten up ...

Got back from the vets last night, as Ollie has his yearly booster and check up. He's great healthwise and all is well, but the vet said he is slightly underweight and gave me a look and I just felt so awful last night, I know I'm a good sheepie mum, but Ollie just isn't a big eater - any ideas how I can beef his meals up ? I do give him Pilchards and Roast Beef once a week in with his dinner ? I know I don't need to change his food as he will eat it, just not lots of it.

I have a similar problem with one of mine, and if I add leftovers, or macaroni, or canned dog food that is more like beef stew rather than the pate type stuff, she eats it all up. The only way to get her to eat more is to keep her on scheduled feedings and add stuff to her food.
Maggie was too skinny and it would take way too much food to keep weight on her so I switched her to a "high energy" dog food. That way she eats a normal amount but she gets the calories she needs to maintain her weight.

What brand are you feeding Maggie? Amanda and I are trying to get Izzie to gain some weight since she is very active and does not always eat a lot.
