HI Everybody! It's been a long time...
Ethan Nathaniel was born June 27th after his Mommy was in labor for 45 hours. Poor thing, Skyler was a trooper and within minutes of his birth she was bouncing off the walls happy, I don't think she has stopped smiling yet. He weighed 7.9 and was 19 3/4 inches long. If you'll remember Sky is only 15 years old. But I have to tell you, she is such a loving, devoted Mommy. Ethan is her #1 priority. I wondered just how much I would have to do but I get only the good part. SPOILING HIM! LOL And I'm LOVING it! Sky has gone back to school, no dropping out for her. She wants to be a Veterinarian some day and she says dropping out isn't an option for her. What could she give her son if she did that? Believe me I am one proud Mom/Nana. He's really growing fast he is up to 14 1/2 pounds and is a little over 2 months old. Mallory was not impressed when we first came home with Ethan. She HATES change. She started acting out by attacking one of our Boxers and forgot all about the fact that she was housebroken. She was awful to live with and we thought we may have to find her a new home but after much work, one on one attention and long pleading talks she finally accepted the baby as family and she is back to her sweet loving self again. Everything is going great here, I hope the same is true for each of you. |
