Put the little girl in my car and brought her home. I made sure she got some water and food. Then I called the local shelter that had taken a call about her wondering around. They told me to bring her in and they would scan her for a microchip then put her on a 5 day hold. If nobody come in she is adoptable on Tuesday. I put a hold on her for Tuesday. I do hope her owners find her or that somebody else puts a hold on her. She is a sweetie and was great on the leash so obviously she is somebody's dog. Being such a sweetie somebody must be missing her. |

What breed is she? Pictures? Did she meet Rags and Pepsi...did they get along? |
They said she could be a Lab/pit mix.
I don't know. She is small at 6 mos. Probably about 18 inches from the floor to the top of her head. Much smaller than a pit, and way too small to for a Lab. She has a little tiny face and a very small head. I guess they assume pit because she is brindle. I have a picture that I am uploading now. She is sitting under a kitchen chair peaking out at Rags I think Rags liked her. She didn't try to hurt her. She was bouncing around like a lunatic and barking making the puppy scared. I didn't see any aggressive behavior. Pepsi was also right up in his face barking, but I think they both wanted to play with her. She just had no idea what to think of my two BIG dogs she had her little tail tucked under her. |
It sounds like they were just excited at the prospect of a new playmate!!
Did she seem house-trained / used to being inside? |
She is so cute. I would guess pit is in there, and they can be really lovely dogs. Looks like she is smiling too, and has a sweet face. I'd keep her. |
ohhhhhhhh..how cute. With all this dog talk, it really sounds like you want to take another one in even if this one came TO YOU. |
She looks big in the picture. She only comes up to Hayley's tummy. |
I love her coloring...very pretty. I think brindle's look so cool. |
WoW! She might have just fallen into your lap!! |
Elissa, I thought you were going to foster that other sheepie for a while. Is that not going to happen? |
What a cool looking puppy. All the opposite colors of a sheepie!
If she's really just lost, I hope her family finds her. Either way, it's good you got her safely off the streets! |

Mochi and her owner with be coming here on Friday. He is in training for a new job and could not get away. Of course Rags has the deciding vote. She is the boss of this house. If it doesn't work out with Mochi I think we will get the puppy. It's really strange because Ryan made a wish on a star last weekend for a new puppy. I'm really hoping the puppy finds it's owners and can go home with them. |
She's adorable! |
Awwww... What a cute face! |
Good luck! Amazing how some things happen mysteriously!!!
The pup is adorable!! |
How cute.
Good lock! |
Thanks |
Sweet looking puppy. I see the pit bull in her--a college student in the neighborhood comes by with his American pit bull puppy who is a month older than mine for lots of romp and tussle and running around. The pit puppy is really sweet, but very strong already.
Let us know how things work out. |
