| I had seen in one of her posts last month that she was clipping Abby because she was not going to be able to do her normal grooming routine. I guess I should have asked if all was okay, but thought that might be intruding on my part.
I hope all is well! Take care and hope to see Aginright posting again soon. Here is to a speedy recovery. |

Wish I could say everything went great and I am just recovering .... but that wouldn't be very truthful. 
The good news is the operation was a success! Actually all 7 procedures seem to have been successful. At least that's the 3 doctors' verdicts. And I have to go to their offices every two weeks from here on out so .... But ... I had a few complications and recovery may be slower than I thought. Cannot be left alone for next couple of weeks, will no tbe able to return to my normal routine for the next 6 weeks. Will not be able to lift anything more than 10 lbs for the next 3 months. And I do not do well under general anathesia, morphine, or vidacin. These will be listed as no-no's next time I ever go under (which I hope is NEVER). Thanks for all the good wishes! Someday when you want to hear the craziest true story and I have recovered my sense of humor, I may actually chronicle the whole mess. Abbi is at my feet night and day now. She knew something was wrong and wouldn't (doesn't) leave my side. I love her and my family to pieces. They have all been just fantastic. Thanks for the good wishes! |

| Agingright, glad to hear you are on the mends! Make sure you follow the docs orders and do not push it! I know harder said then done. Hope things continue to go well. Keep us posted. |

| Abbi has been on the watch. She comes over and nuzzles me. I have to go for daily walks, but someone else has to hold Abbi. But Abbi walks next to me anyways.
Dogs are so loyal and persistent. I have an Abbi rag just to wipe my arm and chin off after she gives me some attention. She is even fetching for me again, but I cannot throw very far or very hard. She looks at me like, are you kidding? I could throw better than that! But she trots over and gets the little ball, rag, paper and gives it back to me. Thanks for all the support. Cannot stay at the computer too long either, sigh! |

| I just answered a private message and saw your messages. No, I stay off the computer as much as possible. It is hard on my back and my wrist. I bought a bigger hard drive, more RAM and am flashing my bios this next week so I can load a better language recognition program. Hoping to get away from typing altogether some day.
I am doing better. Guess I will never be able to explain ... I am now a girl Scout Leader, which takes up time. Also, my daughter, Teresa, adopted another dog from our local shelter. He's a mixed bred retriever. He has chow type hair on his rear, which is really a mess. Still working on saving what we can and shaving what we cannot. Abbi is so JEALOUS. She sits around sighing. She steals Root Beer's toys and tries to dominate him whenever I play with him .... so the girls have been doing most of the playing. Sort of nice having another dog though, I can just let the girls walk both of them and I trail behind them. I get to correct them from afar, which seems to work like a charm. They both walk so well ....they keep looking back to keep track of me. We took them both for check-ups and shots. They are both healthy little beggars. Thanks for the good wishes. They must be working. I am feeling better most days . I haven't heard from Vero or Danik either. Wonder if they are having a busy winter. Vero had just finished her new home and Danik was busy at work last we "spoke". I hope they are doing well too!! |
