Well the weather here has been incredibly hot for the last two months and as a result I'm increasing my daily walks, visits to the dog park and spending time outdoors with all the dogs. I know , most people think Canada is a land of ice and snow but here in the Pacific Northwest we rarely see snow but have lots of rain. The last two months only had two days of rain which I think set a record on our weather charts..you know April showers brings May flowers. Happy to report that the flowers are in full bloom! I miss seeing all the regulars too - hope everyone are doing well. |
Summer has definately hit Oklahoma~ Temps projected to hit 90 today. I've received my new clippers and have 1 dog down- 1 to go  Actually- we were able to get half of Buckley last night before he started getting restless so he's pretty funny looking right now. I'm taking lots of picts. and hope ot post the progression once it is all complete. This is also one of my busiest times at work (yea- I know, So what are doing online now?? I just needed to take a break from it  ) Anyway- that's my update- hope all is well elsewhere!

| Here in Wichita it is HOT today. The tornado season is definitely here! The temp is 90 which normally wouldn't be too bad but our new school offices don't have A/C yet! Only 6 more days of school - yeaaaa!!! When the students and teachers are gone, I plan to bring Truman with me until I get the office closed out for the summer. Then - 7 weeks off! |
| LOL... so it has turned into a weather thread? Well, Marianne is lucky to be in the one of maybe 2 warmer spots in Canada, I am about 3000 miles north and east of BC, and here we've only this week finally had some nice warm days. As recently as about ten days ago we had snow falling... not staying, but falling. So... in my opinion, bring it on! I love summer, the longer and hotter the better! |
Ok I will turn this from a weather thread to a kid thread  My three little ones (or not so little anymore) have had strep throat and my oldest son scratched his eye while doing one of those mother told ya not to do that told ya so's. I have been spending most of this week taking care of them while they have been home from school  P.S. my computer time has also been limited because of all the storms |

Miss my daily check ins, but have been working a nite job too now. It's definitely too SHEEPLESS around here.  Had to get myself busy for a while and save some money for when my new kid ever arrives.
I have been talking with Grannie Annie and others. I am patient and as I've said when the time is right it will happen. I have noticed that there have been no posts from Aging and Vero lately too, when I've had the chance to pop on. I hope Aging is doing okay after her surgery. My thoughts are with you all still, haven't been able to keep up with all the posts but do check in from time to time. Hugs to you all.....  |
