The Nail Experience

Finally got my nail clippers and got to trim our 6 month old's nails for the very first time. They seemed like they were daggers before, but on the first try, blood. Our guy wasn't too happy, but sat through a couple of more drwas of blood before we were done. He was pretty brave.

After my struggles to find the right length to cut, it seems like I just took off the end nub of the nail. Seems the quik was almost as long as the nail. For my guy, I hope I get them all perfect next time.

I cant cut Max's anymore. I did it a few times, but he wouldn't sit still and once I cut his quik. It didn't bleed much, but now everytime I think about I cringe. They don't get too bad, and when they do I will cut a few, but then just take him to the groomer. I give you props for the persistance. Good luck next time!
