No offense to any West Virginians out there but MY GOODNESS, your state is like living in the midst of a roller coaster....... a 100mile drive (as the crow flies) become 300 miles of up and down twisting and turning before you get there. I was positively claustrophobic before we got out of the state, you start to feel like th mountains are coming down on top of you after awhile. !!!!!! We had tire problems and wasted several hours in a Goodrich tire place in some small moutainous community which was.....interesting to say the least. As always vacation to visit family was great with a bit of stress thrown in to keep me on my toes. I guess all familes are the same, aren't they!!! I have lots of pictures to post and will post them in the Pics section for those who care to bee bored by "What I did on my Summer Vacation". It's going to take me days to catch up on posts and what eveyone has been doing. My Dad's computer couldn't load pictures in a viewable fashion so I haven't seen any of the latest pics. We can't pic Tasker up til this afternoon (strict pickup hours at the kennel ) but I am really anxious to see him. Ty has been stuck like velcro to me for two weeks, it's going to be tough for him to get accustomed to being home!! Well, off to catch up on posts!!! |

Yay, Ginny's back! Welcome home! |
Welcome home, Ginny!
I hear you on that WV thing. We drove through there on our way back from CA to Virginia and it was SO windy and curvy. Not to mention the speed limit is about 30 miles per hour and then goes down to about 15 miles per hour when you go through towns (which are every 5 minutes) and I think they get their only income off of speeding tickets. I didn't see you wave as you drove through VA on 95 |

Glad youre back home safe and sound! its about time....we missed you! |
I'm not sure Tasker fared any better at the Kennel . He has a HUGE hot spot on his back and a whopping case of diarrhea I spent this morning shaving the hair on his back and butt and washing the hot spot with betadine.
I don't know if he got a flea at the kennel, she is very paticular and requires that ALL dogs be on a flea program. Or if he gets nervous about us being away. The last time he was ther he got diarrhea but I thought it was because she fed him her food. This time I inisisted on using his food and it's still bad. I guess he's just a homeboy. Poor boy |
Poor Tasker I hope he feels better soon. |
Poor Tasker.
Give him a belly rub for me and sending my thoughts he feels better soon. Marianne and the boys |
