After the second phone call on Friday night (we only got to LG in at 6pm), I told Mom that I would call her the next day, after all, this was supposed to be a vacation of sorts. I'm glad she called to tell us everything was going well, but we really just needed a break. The most alarming thing that Mom called me about after we got home was a missing silver spoon It was left on the counter and when Mom came home, it was nowhere to be found. She thought maybe it was under the fridge, I thought maybe in a little furry boy's intestines So, where did Steve find it? In the air vent on the floor near the patio door where Foz likes to lay and be cool. I was ecstatis that Foz didn't have to go to the vet for the third time in a week:D Some of the funnier antics that Mom got a kick out of were: 1. Foz countersurfing 2. Foz sitting and studiously watching Mom as she put rollers in her hair 3. What a good sport Annie is 4. How he sits and intently watches Animal Planet 5. All of Foz's kisses 6. Getting in bed with Grandma (a big NO NO in our house) 7. Sitting on the couch with Grandma I think Grandma will come again...I hope She can't stop talking about Fozzie and I'm so happy they have bonded so well. |

What a great story. I'm glad your mom had fun with her grandkids.
I think part of why granparents have so much fun with their grandkids is that... they get to give them back! |
Ah. Sounds like everyone had a good time...and got to do some stuff that only grandma would allow! |
That is so sweet..glad all went well, well, relatively so..lol....I love the curler story, I can just pitcure it |
You know Grandma's never have a problem with the "grandkids" ,I've heard. Their trick is they love em to death and give them all their favorite stuff.
Sounds like Fozzie and Annie lucked out in the Grandma department! Glad your mom had fun watching the "kids". Marianne and the boys |
