(heres the scary part) my dad came home so i kicked him out while i was changing (its impossible to put pants or socks on with him), my dad went outside to do something and walter was left alone... i came out of my room and what do i see chewed up all over the floor? a razor. he went into the bathroom, into the bathtub, and propped himself up so he could get a razor from the bench. thankfully he only chewed it apart and didnt swallow any of the blades ( i was frantically searching), and he has no cuts in his mouth... but it was a huge scare. and ill have to be extra careful about shutting the door (it wasnt a problem before, as long as the toilet seat was down) after he got thoroughly punished he came into my room, and right in front of me he put his front paws on my chair and began searching around on my desk for somethingto steal. so he gets punished again as he knows very well hes not allowed to do this. and what does he do? he jumps on my bed (which hes not allowed to do unless someone invites him) and starts chewing on my cell phone! <pause 10 seconds as my dad calls me downstairs to see if hes supposed to have that shoe... which he is not> haha i swear everytime he does something hes not supposed to hes giving me a look like "go ahead try and punish me". i guess he just wanted to remind me as to why i call him 'trouble' |

Eek, maybe Walter and Ben are from the same gene pool, first they both climb fences and now they both eat razors!
Just this week I heard my hubby scolding him and asking if something 'tasted good.' Turns out Ben had made his usual dig through our bathroom wastepaper basket (empty toilet paper rolls are a favorite ) and managed to find one of my razor cartridges. The thing was in about 15 little pieces! We put it together and made sure all the blades were still there, thank goodness he didn't swallow any or have any cuts. So, we'll mark razors as yet another item to keep Big Ben from.... last week he was chewing on one of my husband's wooden golf tees. Just wish he would chew his bones for a change! |
I have had those days with Drake were he goes from one thing to another and usually my 5 year old daughter is joining in with him, they take turns at instagating the mischief. One day I found Drake chewing on a piece of broken glass that I had missed. |
I'm glad all the boys Walter, Ben and Drake were safe! Whew!
I've been meaning to ask how Walter is doing these days. How's his cough? Hopefully he has made a full recovery and it does sound like he's still "full of beans" as on of my friends grandparents use to say. What a character he is! His antics never cease to cause me to sympathize and yet chuckle at the same time. He looks so much like Merlin in the pic you have but I lucky that so far Merlin hasn't discovered shaving razors although Panda did once and also chewed it...yikes! leaving the blade on the floor. Maybe, they are like preteens experimenting with razors? Perhaps one day we'll find our boys sporting a new fashionable "do" complete with a big streak down their backs? Marianne |
I'm glad all the thieves are ok... and since they are, I can't help but laugh.... it is SOOOO typically "sheepie" to steal stuff. My first oes was like that too.... and Dancer is just as much of a klepto!
She steals everything, and I swear if she could laugh she would be... such an impish look she gets! |
haha its good to know that walter isnt the only klepto! i think he was mad at me for going out of town this weekend as he was bad until i returned last night. but he was an angel today so hopefully he got the mischeif out of his system.
marianne- walter still has a little bit of his cough, which is making me nervous since its been two weeks. but he has a day or so left of antibiotics so im going to give it a few days and hope it tapers off. he had a busy day today and hes sleeping peacefully.. hopefully by next week he can come back to daycare and will sleep peacefully more often also id just like to add how well the sporn collar is working for him... the gentle leader wasnt working, he really hated it and i was scared he was going to hurt his neck... the sporn doesnt completely stop pulling but i can handle him really well now and walking is no problem.. and the best part is he stops himself so im not afraid of him hurting himself. i was so excited to take him for a walk today without having my arm pulled out of my socket.... but alas walter didnt feel like walking and i had to drag him all over the neighborhood... that little brat! |
There must of been some doggie alignments in the stars this weekend. My 4 got the roll of paper towels and I awoke to little bits of paper all over my kitchen.A friend of mine's sheepies got their paws on a whole box of coupons and scatterd them all over the house and her backyard. The looks they give you is like, look Mommy it was so much fun, though. To top it all off they are tuckered out and then the look is,it is my nap time now.Too funny! What would my life be without them, hmm,BORING!!!!!!!! |
haha... isnt it a coincidence that you always find the evidence next to a sleeping sheepie???
i know in my house if you see a tired walter... its only because 5 minutes before there was a naughty walter! |
