Abilene is getting a DOG PARK!!!!
On a side note i found out that Abilene has a dog mayor. He is a 190 lbd wolf hound that stands 6'7 !!! SHannon |

| Wow, that sounds deluxe! It definitely will be worth the wait.
We have a new dog park in Mankato, about 20 minutes from me. It is sponsored by the Kiwanis, and is meant to be a family and dog friendly recreation area. It has been very well used. It is along the river, has 2 dog areas, a nice building for meetings (dogs not allowed in there!) a picnic shelter with tables, water fountains galore, wading pool for dogs, paved trails along the river and a free archery range. |
| That sounds like a de-luxe park. I especially like the doggie-friendly restaurant. I'm sure they will get a lot of customers--2 and 4 legged. |
| woo-hoo! Maybe Kaye can bring a sheepie over from Clyde to properly open the doggie park when it opens! I know you'll be there too!
