Whew, Hannah's home and doing well!
THANK YOU ALL SOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR CONCERN AND SUPPORT. HANNAH APPRECIATES IT AS MUCH AS HER MOM. We just got home with Hannah and she is doing great but extremely thirsty. She keeps barking at me to give her water but I know from last time to not give her much or she'll throw up hours later. But it is TORTURE not being able to give her all that she wants. She doesn't understand why her mom won't let her have more water. She had the entire dew claw and growth removed. The growth and dew claw combined were about the size of your entire finger. So the vet said the dew claw was twice the size do to the growth. The cyst under her chin ended up being three cysts filled with blood. So she has stitches under her chin and also black and blue bruising. 
She had her teeth cleaned as well. The results of the biopsies will be by Friday and the vet said it will probably be BENIGN!!!!!!!!  The vet said the growths are probably caused by genetics.
She got a B12 shot and nosodes and some antibiotics and holistic medicine for her thyroid, to help boost the Soloxine she already takes for her thyroid. Ok, I need to get back and watch her. Thanks again. She's a real trouper. The vet loves her and says she is the perfect patient. |

Her pain medicine wore off today and she was definitely not her usual self. Even limping when she got up. She still has her very sweet disposition though. When I was home she just wanted to rest. And she does really well with taking about 50#'s of medicine a day. 
Just kidding, it just seems like a ton of pills for her to take. Thanks again, she likes all of the hugs from you guys. And yes she got every single one!
Hubby has a medical thing tomorrow too. How's that for a week? What's that motto? One day at a time. |

That's a great idea but she won't eat them. Go figure. She's used to getting water AFTER midnight so I was really concerned about that. The vet said she could have ice chips after midnight but before the surgery. Well I crushed them into smaller pieces and she wouldn't have anything to do with it. Even though she was really thirsty. |
