Stacy's Life Update
Work has gotten busier and more stressful...not in a way I'd like. The team processes and the team is a mess, I kind of thought I had left that behind with my old job. About 2 wks ago, Foz pulled me in the parking lot of Petsmart to go poop and my shoulder muscles and back stabilizers haven't relaxed since. The nastiness here in the office hasn't helped much either. I'm working on it though! On a better note, my dept is sending it's employees on an all expenses paid trip to a spa in Lake Geneva, WI this weekend Hubby gets to come and I'm hoping it will be somewhat relaxing. He's trying a massage for the first time and I'm getting a manicure/pedicure. There are no "required" work events or work related activities either. I can't believe it! Hubby will be finished with his MBA tomorrow (Wed)! I can't believe that either! It will be a welcome change but probaby will be weird that he is home more often and not working on projects. He may look for a new job closer to home soon! He's been at the same company for about 8 yrs and a manager for about 5 yrs and getting burned out too. My Mom's 60th surprise party is Aug 19. I just realized that there will be about 30 people in my house! Oh boy! Why did I decide to do this? Oh, yea, because I love my Mom dearly. Unfortunately, I will miss the Sheepiefest planning meeting on Sunday as cousin's will be in from out of town and we have a brunch. Annie and Foz are doing well! The cuter and more well behaved Fozzie has become, the more annoying Annie has become  Not meaner, just annoying
Oh, almost forgot! I will be 1 of 2 leads for a young adults arthritis support group for the North/Northwestern Chicago suburbs. We plan to do more social activities soon. Whew! And to think I was bored and stress free back in Feb. Can I go back to that??? Love to all! |

| Hey Stacy! Hang in there! How close to MN is Lake Geneva WI? Are you gonna be close to us at all???? That sounds like a blast. I'm going to a spa day for my company too!!!! Yay for spa days! Make sure to tell your masseuse (sp?) that your having a back and shoulder issue!
I'm sure your party will be great, in the meantime try to de-stress... my favorite is a bubble bath courtesy of my conair bubble matt. It is like a poor mans jacuzzi. That might help your back and shoulder too! And no walking Fozzie and Annie using that arm!!!! |

I know it's impossible, but try not to let them bother you. And how come everyone gets spa days with their work! No fair! |
| I dont get spa days either steph....lets go make our own...we'll get mani's and pedi's, have wine and crackers..facial and massage, get dressed up afterward and go to the Ritz for dinner....sigh...I so want to do that!!

Karen, I think MN is still really far away  . Hubby is the one getting the massage and he's having shoulder troubles too! We're both a mess! I told him to make sure he tells them what pressure to use. I'll get a mani/pedi.
Ooh, I forgot. Mom is staying with the pups for the first time and at our house! AND Foz has been getting more privileges out of his crate to be on the lower level during parts of the day. I don't think Annie thinks it's a privilege for her though  |

I want a photo of your mom with the dogs racing around her I know that's what you meant! Noone will be around to take a picture of all 3 of them. The last time I instructed Mom to take pictures on July 4, it was insane. She didn't listen at all! |

Darcy, I didn't know that you had a secret yearning to go to a spa. I am the Queen of Spas. Any time you want to go, let me know, I'm with you. My current favorite is the one at the Scottsdale Princess. For those of you in the MidWest - if you ever get the chance go to the Spa in Kohler WI. It's amazing, and has all of the lastest and greatest Kohler fixtures - body showers, jacuzzi tubs. |

| Very cool about the spa.
My last company sent the ladies for a massage and facial as a Christmas bonus. I loved it! But a whole weekend at a Spa, that's awesome. Also it's Wednesday so YAY FOR STEVE!!!! I am sure he will really enjoy having more time to hang at home with you and the furkids. As for the party, sounds like it's going to be a busy and stressful day. Just remember it's all for your Mom. I am sure she'll be thrilled. Sorry works sucks. The only time I was ever happy at work was when I was a Merchandiser. I worked out of my house and didn't have to deal with office antics.
Tell Foz not to be so rough with you. I am hoping he gets much better on the leash for you. |

| Well, it definately sounds like the good outweighs the bad!!! Good for you!!!!!!!!! I hope you enjoy your SPA weekend and your sore muscles are able to relax. You are so sweet to have a party for your Mom what a good daughter. She will appreciate it so much. |
