What a little man! He looks adorable |
Aww! Look at that... how adorable! But Mom... no superhero lunchbox or backpak? |

The lunchbox is Superman. It's just a metal one, and has only the "S" on it pressed into the lunchbox with a little blue detailing. That's the one he wanted, and he picked out his own backpack. He picked out his shoes and everything. He's growing up too fast! |
Excellent! It isn't kindergarten if there's no superhero accutrements (or for the young ladies insert appropriate favorite toy here... mine was My Little Pony) |
He looks GREAT!! And wait till you hear the stories when he gets home from school! What a fun time! |
Oh, how adorable is that!
You can expect him to go to sleep early tonite, or even fall asleep before or right after supper! School is soooo tiring... |
Great pictures Gail.
How is Brandon handling it? |
CUTE! So well prepared. I can't believe you need a backpack to go to Kindergarden these days! |

How is Brandon handling it? Jason's home today since he works midnights tonight (tomorrow), and Brandon stayed home with him. He cried when we left, but he was playing a game when we got back. He asked why I left Jakob at school, and I told him that Jake had to stay most of the day, but he would be back this afternoon. He said "Okay", and he's been fine & playing fetch with Jasper ever since (yes, over a hour now...lol). |

They have to read, add, and subtract before they can exit kindergarten now, at least here! lol Yeah, he needs a backpack because they'll bring home homework everynight this year too. Kindergarten was just playtime with a little learning mixed in when I went! lol |
That's great that he doing so well. |
What a handsome guy.
I think it was harder on me than my oldest the first day of school. Can't wait to hear how his day was. |
I love your new avatar!!!
YAY for your son's first day! Booooo for having to send him up and it making you sad. I don't want that day to come!!!! We may home school. I love the pictures of him at the door. He has grown so much. He's losing his chipmunk cheeks that I remember him having from the very first pics you posted. |
I love the photos....he looks a little scared, but the second one he has a hint of a smile and then the third back to Im not sure..lol....he is a cutie.....what a big boy now! |
Best wishes to Jake on his first day of school!
He'll do great! Lots of friends and fun things to do. Brandon will have fun taking care of Mom and Jasper, and soon a very tired, happy, hungry Jake will be home and looking for everyone. He'll love telling you about his busy day!!!!!!! first day of school |
HEHEHE
How cute!!!! Your son is so adorable! He looks like he's ready to head out to first day of Kindergarten with his Superman Lunchbox!! |
He looks so grown up in those pictures! Gosh!!
Hope he had a great first day! Glad you made it through okay. |
Awww...very cute! It looks like he was ready to go.
I can't believe they still have lunchboxes! I would think by now they'd be using some sort of electronic lunchbag or something Karen...I LOVED the My Little Pony lunchbox. I had it too! The purple box, not the pink one... |
Well, Jake had a lot of fun today. I went to pick him up, and he's been talking about all the things they did: snack, lunch, art, reading stories, playing games, etc.. Apparently there was a red flag today, so they didn't get to play on the playground (probably too hot - it's 99 now at 4 pm). The only question he asked is why he couldn't ride the school bus home! lol It doesn't run to our house since we're so close to the school (same as post office - they won't deliver mail here), so he's out of luck there. He's off tomorrow - they sent half the class today & the other half goes tomorrow, and he goes back on Wednesday.
It was weird without him here today. Everytime I went outside to do something, Brandon kept asking if I was going to pick Jakob up. He really missed him and cried this morning when we left, but he stayed busy all day playing. When I brought Jake back home, Brandon walked over and hugged him. |
I'm glad he had such a good time! I just looked at his pictures and he is a cutie and so color coordinated! The girls will all love his style |
that's so wonderful! Glad he had a good time
(And there really is NOTHING better then a My Little Pony Lunchbox, unless it is a My Little Pony lunchbox AND backpak!) |
Hi,
Aww what a cute little guy and those big blue eyes!!!! Yup, kinda leaves a mom feeling somewhat sad when her little one starts kindergarten..how fast times goes by! I love your new avatar too!! Marianne and the boys |
Sounds like a huge success!! For everyone really. Jake looks supercute and I love the Brandon hugged him when he came home. What nice boys! |
Awwwwww |
I'm glad his first day went well. Everything is harder for you than it is for them. Hang in there. The pictures are adorable and brought back lots of memories. |
Aw, I'm glad he came home happy. I love the lunchbox! |
