Bought a Tempur-Pedic bed
Dang, beds are expensive but I got free financing for a year. I'm sure it will be worth it. And I got a free pillow.  Wish I got a free sheep stuffie like you get when you buy a Serta. |

| No pillow top Elissa. I didn't see that option. I will give a full report Wednesday. The back of the invoice does say it will take 3-4 weeks for your body to get used to your new bed. I have a feeling it will take me about 3 minutes! |

| That is the first thing I bought with my very first paycheck as soon as I graduated from college. The dormitory mattress had given me so much back problem I couldn't walk from a herniated disk by senior year.
Anyways... I looooooooove my tempurpedic mattress.. but one bad thing is I think I got used to it now and it doesn't feel all that special. Also since I got married the bed takes room in the guest bedroom and I don't sleep on it anymore.. Did you get the new one with extray layer of mattress? We want to get that when we move to Houston.. |
| Joanna, I think the model I bought is the "Deluxe." It's the middle of the range. It has 50% more foam than the Classic and 2 airflow channels which are supposed to eliminate the "it's too hot" problem. I bought the pillow about 5 years ago and have wanted the bed for at least a year. I'm starting to get excited! |

| When's the sleepover?!
Give us a full report! We've had our mattresses on the floor now for 8 months. When we moved in, the movers lost the bracket-thingy's that put the sleigh-bed pieces together. We can't find the bracket we're looking for anywhere. Even tried furniture store that had the exact same bed. Anyway, I hate our "new" mattresses. |

| The bed is wonderful. It's higher than my old bed so I had to put the alarm clock on a book so I can see it when I'm in bed! It's hard to describe what it feels like when I'm in it. It's soft yet supportive. Like being in a cocoon. I had no problem falling asleep last night (I usually don't though). When I woke up, I wasn't stiff or sore and didn't have to walk hunched over until my muscles warmed up. For the first time in years my shoulder isn't stiff. I still have a little "buyer's remorse" at the price, but I'm realizing it is worth it!
I can see where some would not like the bed. But I would do a commerical for Tempur-Pedic. |
