Looking for an OES Statue for my yard

| Resin or Cement? You may have to wait for the NEOESR Auction in October - they've had Garden Statues available for Auction in previous years! They are cement though - and very heavy! |
| That would be so cool! I've looked around my area every time I am in a mall and I can never find anything oes. No little figurines, nothing. |
| BritPresSyd if I found a cement one here I would buy it in a heartbeat but since I will most likely have to have it shipped I would prefer resin because the handling cost would be more then the statue. Actually I like how lightweight the resin is. I am constantly changing my yard and moving my flowers around and adding things to my yard (yes I have my hubby busy building things for my yard,I keep him qiut busy) and resin statues are easier to work with. Also my kids are very mischievious and I know they can not kill themselves with a resin statue or lose a toe as they could with a cement statue. So yes I really prefer resin |
| i have never seen resin. i have ceramic & a terra cotta in my garden. i also gave a very nice wooden sheepie on a stick, i know they make wooden ones w/o sticks for gardens. if you are interested i can send website for any of these. oh, almost forgot have a metal sheepie garden ornament & a sheepie weathervane on my garage. sue |

Sue, Ironically, Bellingham the home of the wooden Sheepies is located only 20 mins from me. I might take a drive down there to view them some time. My home is only 20 mins from the US boarder and Bellingham is the first municipality on the other side. As for the other site ohhhh I fell in love with the sign that said Shhhh watch dog sleeping...can imagine having a Sheepie on one of these signs! I also like the metal garden ornaments. I'll be counting my pennies! Yeah my van will be ready sometime this week..after getting the new air conditioning in..(much needed) with dogs. Would be kinda neat to get airbrushed painting done on the van of a Sheepie come to think of it. Marianne |

I ordered a toad house from them 9/15/05 and after MANY emails have yet to receive it OR a refund. They are VERY slow answering emails and I doubt SERIOUSLY whether I will ever see the item or my $ back...they delayed me too long to have paypal OR e-bay help in the matter. Don't believe the good rating on e-bay for this one, folks! |
