Isn't this girl gorgeous? This is Maddie, she is a 5 month old purebred Old English Sheepdog. Maddie has been spayed, is up to date on vaccines, and takes her monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. Maddie is going to be a large girl probably maturing to around 75-80lbs, she is currently weighing in around 45lbs. Maddie was surrendered to us by her owner when she decided she no longer had time for Maddie. Maddie is already housetrained, great with other dogs, wonderful with cats, loves every person she meets, and is not at all destructive. What more could you ask for? Maddie does have a tail, unlike most Old English Sheepdogs, Maddie's previous owner picked her out of the litter as a very small puppy and decided not to have Maddie's tail docked. | I was walking the 3 stooges tonight and there was a men's soccer team practicing. Well since we have been playing soccer with Miss London in the backyard off she went to play with the "men". Typical teenager flirt. After 20 minutes or so she wore herself out but several of the men (25-45 age group) asked what type of dogs they were and they have never seen one before. I did mention this 5 month old in Lake Charles at the dog pound that was in desperate need of a home. Hint, hint.......
Hopefully after telling them about the horrible life the boys had prior etc... maybe.... just one of them might? Here's keeping all fingers and paws crossed. |
