Surgery Tuesday! Poor Hannah.
She has to have surgery on Tuesday. The tumor/cyst  growing from her dew claw that we've been "Watching" or I have been watching has suddenly grown. So we went to the vet today. I will say Emergency because that was the state of my being. It turns out it is possibly a cyst that is about to burst and probably ATTACHED to a tumor. The cyst might burst before Tuesday so I've been given instructions on how to handle that.
On Tuesday she will have the cyst and whatever else might be there removed and the bone. So everything will be flat. The nail from the dew claw apparently POPPED  out of her dew claw. YUCKKKKK 
She also had a vertabrae out so that was put back in place and had a chiropractic adjustment. She's been getting more walks lately. She is having the cyst under her chin removed Tuesday as well. She also has a yeast infection in her ears. She had been having excessive ear wax for a few weeks but although I've been diligently cleaning her ears they didn't bother her at all so I am surprised. So we have ointment for that. I asked the vet about where to get the violet stuff Willowsprite suggested. She said it is hard to get here. Canada is more progressive with alternative treatments than we are according to what she said. My vet is a regular vet and also holistic. I feel terrible that she has to have all of these issues! I love her so much |

| Zak grows those cysts like weeds, unfortunately. I used to have them removed on a regular basis, but as he got older the procedure became more dangerous than the cysts. The removal is quite easy and the recovery is as well.
It's so hard when they have something like this, cause you never know what could be potentially dangerous. It's great that you are so attentive and care so much. HANNAH is lucky to have you. |
