I'm beginning the process of switching Chauncey from puppy to adult food. I was a little concerned that he had a bout of gastroenteritis about a month ago and was going to wait through one more bag of puppy but Bob talked me into starting about a week ago. We have approx 20 lbs. of the Royal Canin Lg. Breed Puppy and Royal Canin Lg. Breed Adult mixed about 50/50. Any recommendations on how long we should continue mixing? Our lab had a cast iron belly and we stretched it out over about a month if I remember correctly. |

I have transitioned Chipper from puppy to adult food, and I did the 50/50 for a week, then 75/25 for a week, and the pure adult food. He has a sentitive stomach, but did very well!
