Question about Diana Gabaldon Book #4
(The Fiery Cross) I really enjoyed the first 3 books, and could hardly wait to start 4, but it's boring. I'm about 200 pages in and they are still at the clan meeting. What happened, and is it going to get better?? Please don't give away anything that is going to happen, but just let me know if it picks up. |

I'm going to try to pick it up again here shortly. I just finished what has been dubbed the summer's Best Seller "Ruins" It was good. A little long at times but since I have been to that part of Mexico many times to the ruins it kept my attention! Ali |
| I've not been able to find a lot of time to read and am just about to start my re read of the second one, Dragonfly In Amber... but if I remember correctly I thought book 4 was a bit slow to get into too. I do think I remembered LOVING it later LOL because I was SO excited for the fifth book to come out LOL |
| It seems like the first 3 really moved along and kept you interested.
I wasn't sure if there was a reason for all this clan meeting stuff? I was thinking of skipping ahead just a little, but I'm scared I'll miss something I'll need to know later on. I guess I'll hang in there for a while longer. |

| Book 3 is great, and book 4 is starting to get better.
Have fun on vacation!! It sure is hot here in SC. The last couple days it's been close to 100, and then you have the humidity. So hot it almost looks foggy out. Thank god for the ocean and the air condition!! |
