I'm shamelessly addicted to So You Think You Can Dance - it's getting tough to pick a favourite these days, I'm rooting for so many of them! I'm also addicted to Hell's Kitchen (on tonight, can't wait!). |
| Both myself and Troy are addicted to this show.. life comes to a standstill on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

| I'm such a turd that I even voted last week! I thought Allison was a great dancer and was sad to see her go. I was really surprised that Natalie stayed in over her, although I like her, too. Although Heidi is a great dancer, there's something so unappealing about her. It makes it really hard for me to like her!
I think the final two will be Benji and Donyelle. What do you guys think? |

I was really surprised to see Allison go as well... I LOVED her and Ivan together.. I had hoped that it would be Natalie.. Natalie dances like she should be swinging around a pole. I can't vote cause I'm a Canuck...so will you vote for B & D for me. |
| Absolutely one of my favorite shows too!! I agree that Benjie should be in the top two, not as convinced with the girls. I was shocked to see Allison go, just as I was shocked to see Dmitry go a few weeks ago. Travis looked so scared last week when it was down to him and Ryan, I thought he was going to have a heart attack!!
Donyelle is great, too, but I also think Heidi is a phenomenal dancer. I agree that there's just something about her, maybe she comes across as a bit phony, but there's no taking her dance skills away from her. Will be on pins and needles until the finale!! |

We have to vote for Benji since he's the West Coast Swing champion. WooHoo fellow swingers!!!! Although, Travis is really awesome too. Great all around dancer. Heidi is a great dancer but I think she lacks a lot of the the modern styling that the winner would need. The opening number from the other night is online here www.waderobson.com he choreographed it. That might have been one of the most rockin' things I've seen in a loooooong time!!! |
| Any predictions for tonight? I know it isn't decided until tomorrow but it's really down to the grind now. I think Natalie for the girls but for the guys I'm torn. Ivan has progressed a lot but Travis is so good in a polished, professional way. I'm pretty sure Benji isn't going anywhere! |

| I love this show! I predict Benji and Travis, I can't choose between them. Benji is so funny and good and Travis has such amaizing skill. And girls... I agree that Heidi isn't very appealing, but I think she is the best girl out there right now. |
| I don't know why, but I think Heidi is appealing to me! She has spunk and talent and has the good 'broadway' faces that you need on stage (unless you're in the royal ballet). |
| Well, if the public listened to the judges last night (and they usually do), I predict that we will be saying good-bye tonight to Natalie and Ivan. They REALLY picked them apart BIG time. And Mia was just BRUTAL!!! Yikes! |

Mia is always brutal. James doesn't really pay attention when I have it on but he always pays attention enough to point out how much he dislikes her. She does some wacky choreography too. I couldn't tell if I liked it or hated it as I was watching it. Like that one where Allison and Ryan were wearing leotards and eye patches? It was definitely a dancer's routine-- not really good for general appeal. |
| I agree.. Mia is brutal.. I particulaly don't like her... but I think she was right last night with Natalie. She is such a "performer".. and not in a good way.. in a "notice me, notice me way, boo hoo hoo way".
I still say, she dances like she should be swinging around a pole and getting bills tucked into her shorts.. Brenda who can only sing and dance when there is white rum involved.. |
| See? I KNEW Ivan and Natalie would be leaving last night. It's to Ivan's credit that he got that far with never having any formal dance training. And Natalie - well, she just ran out of luck. Her face always had this "please don't hate me" look, and it was growing old.
Now the choices get harder. Girls - Heidi and Donyelle. No matter what you think of Heidi, she is a better dancer than Donyelle. Heidi deserves to be one of the last two girls. Not sure Donyelle does. Think it should have been Allison. Boys - Benji and Travis. Both well trained, both excel in their fields. I really can't decide who I like better. Benji is a better "performer," in that his face is always so animated. He draws the audience in with that. Travis, though, is an intense dancer, with some very amazing moves. SO - 2 weeks to go. I'm assuming next week one more guy and girl will be eliminated, leaving the remaining boy and girl to dance for the title the following week. UNLESS they change the format and just have the one who gets the most votes next week be the winner. |
| I think they said that next week is the finale. Maybe it will be divided into two parts; eliminate one boy and one girl and then it's a dance off.
I think Heidi might be Donyelle. She is a more formally trained dancer and the crowd seems to like her more. The boys will be tight. I'm still rooting for Benji but Travis is amazing in his form and technique and the people will probably like him more after last night and his celebration when he was safe. There might be some producer interference in the future just to get the cousins battling it out for the title. Hmmmm |
| I kinda think that the cousins should be the last 2 standing. They seem like they are the most technically inclined of the group...the sharpest movement. I do love Donyelle, though. I never really got into Travis, but I'm happy with this last group of dancers... |

| Okay, so what did everyone think of the finale last night?
Travis did extremely well in all dances. I still like Benji more, though - he's more animated and fun to watch. I didn't like the dance or song that Heidi and Donyelle had to dance to - too slow, not enough moves, just kinda boring. I also don't like the way they're ending this year. Why not drop it to 2 first? Seems kind of mean to pick the most vote getter out of 4. Who do you think is gonna win? Based on the judges comments last night, it looks like Travis to me. Agree or disagree? |
| Last night's show was good. I don't know who's going to win! I really like Heidi, she just has good energy and a great performing attitude. Travis did some awesome dancing last night. I really like Benji, but I might have to go with TRavis...I don't know. |
| I really enjoyed last night.. I was kind of bummed that we have to wait til next Wednesday to hear who the winners are... I still say Benji and Heidi..
All of Benji's solos just want to make me get up and dance. I checked the tour dates/locations.. none to Canada.. 
Did anyone besides me notice that when they showed the clip of them going to that movie premier and they showed Mary Murphy.. she had the same dress on that she wore on the show last night....... |

My sister and I are totally going-- dorks that we are. I'm way too excited! I like Benji as the winner-- he may not be the best dancer, but he's the best performer by far. I really feel bad for a couple when they get lame choreography, especially since it's the public voting. I think even a mediocre hiphop routine will get a better reaction by viewers than an impeccable waltz. It's easier to get excited over a high energy dance. |

| SO - what did everyone think of the finale?? For the most part, I loved it!! It was so great seeing all 20 dancers together again, then the final 10, then each finalist's favorite routine and each judge's favorite routines. What I DIDN'T like was how they got down to the final two. I think they should have just eliminated one at a time with all four at the end.
I was very glad with the outcome. Don't want to say anything in case somehow who's not on Eastern time hasn't seen the ending yet. Woohoo!!  |

| I Tivo'd it and just got to watch it. I thoughyt the finale was great. I liked how they brought everyone back and did different routines with different dancers so it wasn't just the final four. I agree though, Chris, I would've liked to have found out the winner all at once with all four of them on stage. Donyelle knew that she hadn't won after Heidi got the boot right before her. It really ruined the suspense!
