Yowza! Your family is growing by leaps and bounds!!
There may be hope yet that your MIL will get a grandaughter, or two! Were the twins conceived naturally or through in-vitro? Reason why I'm asking - I have a coworker who's wife had trouble conceiving for years and they went the in-vitro route. First two attempts failed, and she finally got pregnant on the third attempt, even though the doctor inserted only ONE embryo - miracle one. On the first ultrasound, the technician said, "They're both doing fine." They looked at each other and said at the same time, "BOTH???" The tech said, "Oh - I thought you knew." Miracle two. The husband's family NEVER fathered a daughter so they assumed they were going to have identical twin boys. At the next ultrasound they found out that the twins were girls. The paternal grandparents were just BESIDE themseleves - first grandchildren, and two girls. Woohoo!!! Miracle three. So see? There's hope yet!! |

Korie just told everyone today, so we're all kind of in shock. She's going to have her hands full. She has a son who will turn 5 next month, a 2 year old (will be 3 in December), and soon the twins. They were natural and completely unplanned, lol. |
yey twins!!!!! As a twin, all I can say is that you have a built-in partner in crime, twice the clothes, best friend for life, worst enemy at times, the only one who knows ALL of your secrets, soul mate, expensive phone bills, some one who not only makes you laugh, but laugh so hard you cry, tester(ie, haircuts, pregnancy, etc) that you can say..no way am I going to do that!, someone that will never forget your birthday, brag about being 4 minutes older/younger, someone that you just have to look at to know what the other is thinking and did i mention double the amount of clothes and shoes???
Congratulations! |
