He is absolutely stunning (always was but now that he's ours he's even more so )!! We get him in a WEEK and A HALF - a week earlier than I was expecting, so I'm very happy! YIPPEEE - I couldn't sleep last night and I don't know how I'm going to sleep until we bring him home! We visited with him for a few hours today and came home covered in puppy love - and smelling like it!!!!! All nine of the puppies are absolutely wonderful and we came home with slobbery sneakers and lots of kisses. I could keep talking for ever, but I'll save it for the pictures!!!!!! |

SheepieMommy wrote: I love the name. Are you Pride and Prejudice Fans? Mr. Bingley! Yes we are - I love the book and I am a big fan of the movie with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. We considered Darcy, too, but figured in this day and age it would be mistaken for a girl's name! Bingley fits him! |

We considered Darcy, too, but figured in this day and age it would be mistaken for a girl's name! Bingley fits him! I had a golden retriver named Darcy. He was a boy and no one ever assumed he was a girl. That was 25 years ago though. LOL |
LOL - Darcy.
My mother wanted me to name Harry Darcy. But I told her everyone in America thinks it is a girls name. So thus Harrington (after a the Suzy's Zoo sheepdog and a hotel in England). I like to go with English names - Mopsy was from the Beatrix Potter character. Just for the record I wouldn't kick Colin Firth out of bed for eating crackers. And as far as literary license when Colin goes swimming in the water at Pemberly, I don't think even Jane Austen would have minded! Emily - I always think that I will just watch one of those tapes and end up watching the whole five plus hours in one sitting. Sorry Stacy- Twenty five years later there are too many female Darcy's. If Harry's grandma would have had her way ....... |
Ha! There are NOT enough Darcy's out there...I still cant find a keychain with my name on it.... |
Hooray! He is so cute- and BIG!
I am so thrilled for you It is so exciting once you know which puppy is going to come home home with you. Let the shopping begin Lark, Noodle and the boys |
Congratulations!!! Can't wait to see new pics of Bingley as he is growing. |
