Hello Everyone! Getting an OES Puppy in 2 weeks!
I have been reading your posts for the last couple months in preparation for getting an OES puppy and now that I know for sure we're getting one I can finally join in on the discussion! First, thanks to all of you. Reading your advise and experiences with grooming, health, behaviour, crate training and house training has me much more prepared for the years to come. Reading about your sheepie antics has had me laughing out loud. Some days I log on just to look at pictures of your beautiful dogs. On to the exciting news.... we have our puppy picked out (99% sure we're getting him - small possibility he might be the show dog of the litter) and he'll be ready to go home with us in 2 more weeks. Pictures are already up for you to check out - thanks to Ron who was so quick to approve them! I'll be back with more news when I have it (and more pics) and I'm sure I'll be on the forum with lots of questions in the months to come. Thanks again! |

| Congradulations on your new puppy Barkley! He is so CUTE!!!!!!!!! I love his "mask". He makes me want to get another puppy, I won't, but he looks so adorable. I hope you have many years of fun/love with your pup.
I agree with you regarding all of the good advise that everyone gives on this forum. I have used alot of the advise that I have read about here on my Violet who is 3 1/2 yrs old. (yes, sometimes you can teach an old dog new tricks or at least the dogs owner. lol) Thank you everyone for all of your great advise. helen |

| Thanks everyone! He is so cute I just want to hold him everytime I see a picture of him. I'm so excited to bring him home I can hardly think of anything else. We've been visiting the breeder almost every week since they were 3 weeks old - she's quite happy to have us of course - we're helping her socialize the whole litter! |
| Oh he is adorable and what a cute name. That was the name of the dog on Sesame Street and people would always come up to me when I had my dog growing up and say he looked like Barkley!
You are sooo going to love owning a sheepdog - they are the most fun dogs. Their comical personalities match their comical looks. They are like lovelable cuddly teddy bears. Congratulations. We are counting down the days with you! |
