I chopped off my hair, and it's TOO SHORT!
My worst cut ever was probably 6th grade. I cut it really short. It was an okay cut. But the worst part-oh dear the worst part was that I then permed it. PERMED IT. I can't believe they let me do that to myself. What is your worst cut ever? |

| You have my sympathy, I did almost the same thing a few months ago. Cut it all off that is, not permed it.
My hair was more than halfway down my back and I got it cut in what was supposed to be a short, sexy pixie type cut. It didn't turn out at all as I had hoped and even though it has grown a couple of inches, it's still WAY too short. It just now touches the collar of my shirt

Give it a few days. Any bad haircut I've had (which range to having hair as short as Demi Moore on Ghost) ...always looks "OKAY" a few days later. Hair grows back super fast!  |

This are several old wives tale/Hair Voodoo I heard from my cousins The craziest one was: If you think lot of naughty sexy stuff... often your hair grows faster.. At first I was like "What??? Where in the world are these girls coming up with this?" LOL All in all, there is no way to make your hair grow faster... however there are many ways you can slow down your hair growth Poor hair care regimen, poor diet, illness, medication, and emotional stress. It's not that your hair literally grows slower but because they become unhealthy... don't grow to full potential.. Also hair grows faster in the summer than in the winter.... So don't stress out, eat lots of good protein-fish, lean meat.. listen to calming music... read OES... play with your babies, and your hair will become healthier!!! Or you can always run to the salon and get hair extensions!! |

| Sorry you don't like your new do. However, it will grow back.
I know that sounds lame right now, but having been the recipient of many bad haircuts and some good ones, I know that eventually it will grow out again. My last serious haircut was 2 1/2 yrs ago when I cut it above shoulder length and although I have trimmed it a few times it is now half way down my back again. Actually this is the point where it seems to stop growing and never has actually gotten much longer than that. Although I occasionally like short hair, I generally prefer it long - it's much easier to deal with. You can always put it up if you are having a bad hair day. |
| I grew up in a certain religion that didn't allow females to cut their hair. When I was 19 I had hair to the back of my knee caps. I am almost 6 ft - so it was majorly long & a major pain. To this day I prefer to keep my hair short - I really hate to mess with it.
And a bad hair cut does grow out. |

| half way down your neck.....you must have a long neck (and you do).....because on me that's nearly my chin.....or is that chins?? There's only an inch difference. It probably was mid neck when cut, but dried and shortened.
I hate long hair, but hate short hair more! My hair is fine, doesn't curl easily. My mother's hair is the same and she told me how to get a good perm ...I forget now what she said but when I'd tell hairdressers, they just laugh and ignore me. [something like our hair doesn't curl until the relaxer is applied, so don't wait until the curl appears, by then the hair is over cooked???] Only one listened and yes, I got a good perm. Now I don't even bother since I color and swim, I wouldn't have any hair if I also permed. Husband cuts my hair and I cut his. Hard to get mad at the hairdresser that way. |

um, one time i saw these like comercials and like ALL had bangs. i was trying to copy them u now in like a sexy way,but when i tried to cut it all on my own it looks SOO ugly like all of it is uneven and its WAY too short for me to try and make it even again..... i am SO emmaesed  |

My worse haircut was when I was six and my mom cut my waist length hair and then gave my sister and I a home perm. We still chuckle at the photo..me and my sister wearing our church clothes complete with hats and a mass of frizz coming out from all sides.

| I can sympathize, it happened to me 8 yrs ago.
I told the girl I wanted something simple, so layers would be best. I had told how I wanted my hair and showed her a picture. The woman in the picture had long hair!! It didn't look too short when she gave me the cut, but when I washed my hair it looked completely short and awful. And the fact that I have very wavy hair made my hair curl up and look even shorter. I spent the next 8 months blowdrying it to make it looks fuller and longer. Now I specify the exact length I will allow to be cut! |
| My worst haircut...two days ago. I don't like long hair, don't like how it feels on my neck. My hair was starting to touch the collar of my shirt and that drives me nuts so I decided to get a cut. Well...Cut it she did. Now it sticks up every which way and I can't seem to get it to lay flat. Seems I have 2 choices, get it cut shorter-not or wait and hope my hair grows back real fast. | I recently have been dealing with the the emotions of a bad break up. I decided to give myself a new hair cut to get a new additude and face the world again. My hair has been long all of my life. Until last week I had only been in the salon for trims. I had some trims that made me upset because they were too short. So, i decided to take a walk on the wild side and chop it all off. Oh boy did i chop it off! I liked it for the first two days, but now i have been going through withdrawl! I can't get over the fact that my hair is gone!!!! I keep reminding myself that since i donated it, it will make someone else happy. And i guess at the end of the day it makes a good story. I spend more time thinking about my hair than the break up, so i think that it worked. Until then i'm just waiting for it to grow back! |
| Hummmm I did the same thing 2 weeks ago. I had enough of the same hair style for 3 yrs. I had so much gunck that my hair felt like glue in the morning. SO I went to my girl and she cut it . At first I liked it but in 2 days I was freezing. She cut it around my ears and I hate that. I put ear muffs on ,I am so cold. Welcome to the club of bad hair days.LOL |

I find a baseball cap covers most mistakes and I have had many  far too many to list the worst was when I asked my OH to trim the split ends off my ponytail and he cut the whole lot off..... from the top side of the elastic band then visitors turned up I was mortified |

| I thought I was the only one who didn't like my hair. I have been coloring it for years and have decided to grow the colour out. This time last year I had a chin length bob (coloured) so I just let it grow and about 6 weeks ago It was on my shoulders but manageable (put up is my manageable) then I had it cut, and I forgot how curly it is!!! I get old ladies saying your lovely curly hair! Have you had a perm! GRRRR!!! Anyway persevering I thought have another trim get rid of some more colour. My hairdresser was away I had another one and he cut it a bit too short so it sticks up everywhere now. So I think I might grow it again!
ps if you are growing it, dont wash it, or comb it too much it breaks it. Also if you can get hold of a tube of vitapointe and just use a little dab on the ends it stops them splitting. Works honestly. |
| How timely this post is! I've had my "new" hairdo for over a year, and have been thinking about doing something else a bit more drastic. I just had a trim and talked to my stylist about really cutting it...sort of like Chris Jenner on Keeping up with the Kardashians. She thought it was a great idea! But now...I'm scared!!!!!!! |
| I guess if your hair grows fast then it's no big deal. My hair grows very slowly, I think it's because of my underactive thyroid. It's taken me 7 years to grow mine from shoulder length to where it is now (about 7 inches longer) yep, about an inch a year is my lot including trims, I trim off about half an inch twice a year to keep the ends from looking horrible. I dare not go to the hairdressers in case they cut too much off I think I would cry lol
I would like to do something different but don't know what, I like to be able to tie it up and hate it over my eyes. I would love curly hair, my hair is dead straight. Friends say I'm lucky because I just wash my hair and leave it and don't need any products but I think it just hangs, I can't even get a wave to stay in more than 15 minutes. |

I've got a very good remedy of growing hair fast: ... dont laugh!! but I do it always that way, some people find it funny or just stupid but it works for me so why not for you?? 
You (your hairdresser!!) should cut your hair every 2 month on the full moon!!! As close as you can get to the full moon,best on the same day and even better close to 12 at night but NOT after the full moon!! just cut an inch or so, as less as possible, so you need a trustful hairdresser who doesnt cut too much off otherwise it wouldnt work. Because everything is growing with the full moon, water is coming and going, farmers plant their veg etc. with the moon, why wouldnt it work for you with the hairs?! I totally believe in it and I do it that way by myself since many years, it doesnt cost more and you will not loose anything! So why not give it a try?
Let me know if you should decide to do it!! PS: do NOT cut your hair AFTER the full moon, that's only for people who want to keep their hair SHORT for a longer period of time!! | my hair grows really fast, about a 1/2 - 4/5 inch a month, so I really don't think much of doing drastic things to it. It'll just grow out. |

| You could glue them back on, one at a time. It would take you a while, but it also would kinda make you think twice before doing that again when you're irritated! |

You could always have extensions put in. When I was a kid, I was never allowed to say how I wanted my hair. I got hauled off to the beauty shop, had it chopped off and the god awful perms that made me look like I had a brillo head, couldn't even get a comb or brush thru it!!! I hated it and to this day I have NEVER NEVER had another perm nor will I!  I am in charge!!!!!  |
| When my sister in law was a teen she got a really bad short haircut and went home and put a pillowcase over her head. And then fell down the stairs and broke her leg and sprained her wrist. The moral of this tale is...just wait, don't do anything drastic, it will grow back. BTW I saw a pic if her and the haircut was adorable. |
