I used my new grooming table today : )

All I have to say is YAY!!!! :yay:
It is so much easier. I got Pepsi done so quickly. At least half the time it normally takes me without the table. 8)
He also looks wonderful because he wasn't constantly trying to move away and turn around. The only trouble he gave me was the legs and nails.
I will take some pictures of Pepsi later.

How great is that?! Good job!
Aren't they awesome? :) Couldn't do without one now...

No way would I ever even attempt to do it again without the table.
I LOVE IT!!!!
I groomed my friend's Pomeranian the other day. I did it on his kitchen counter and she just stayed put. She was so cooperative. So when I do her again I won't need to use the table... but for my dogs it's a must.
I haven't been able to give a cut this good since I did Peanut at my SILs.
Also I didn't get nicked by the clippers this time...which usally happens when Pepsi moves when I am trying to get his feet.
really? that great?
Can you adjust the height of the table?
Can you tell me where one goes about getting one?

It seems like many of you do you your own doggi styling and I think that is awesome!!! I should think about this now that I'll have 2 dogs to groom and the fees are piling up!
I'm jealous.... I clipped Dudley this morning and my back is killing me...

Troy would have to build me a reinforced table for Dud.... 130lbs...

Can you take a picture of it for me... so I can have a guide when Troy builds me one.

Yes that great!!
The height of the table is 30" it is not adjustable. The dimensions are 48L x 23W x 30H In
It's 3" shorter than the small & medium sized ones because it's meant for a big dog. The Grooming Arm is adjustable and can go up and down for the right height of the dog.
I bought mine at PetEdge, I had been searching and searching and the price I got was the lowest I had seen. The website is www.petedge.com
the item number is TP154 and I got the biggest one.

Dudster, I already folded it up and put it away. I will get it out later and take some pictures for you. I would at least purchase the grooming arm with the noose. They are not very expensive. And you can clamp it on to any size table. Check out item TP153 on the above link. It's $19.99 for the grooming arm and noose. Then all you'll need is a table. :)
IT's foldable too!?!?!~~ :hearts:

I just checked out your other thread...
Sorry, it's taking me a while to read up and catch up some what~

I uploaded some pictures of the haircut.
When approved you can see! I left his ears longer.
Billy doesn't like it. WHATEVER!
Here he is....nice and cool now.
Well not really since it's 120 today 8O
He did spend at least an hour in the pool earlier.

He looks wonderful!!! Fantastic job! What a handsome guy!
Thanks Val :D
You did a great job on him Elissa. He looks cute and cool now.
Pepsi looks great! Very nice job. I think his ears look nice - just the right amt of hair.

We just had Bart in to get ready for his show next weekend (rally obedience) and my friend Kristin did a great job. Normally I would have had her trim him down (like Pepsi), but I had her leave him longer for the show. She trimmed down his belly to be cooler, and blended into his longer coat. You can't even tell he's naked underneath until he rolls over. Then he got his feet and face done too.

It was his 1st groomer trip since we got him, and he got a great report! She was amazed how he loved the bath tub!
He looks great.

How do you get them up on the table and down?
He looks fabulous, Elissa!! Good job and congrats on getting your table! :clappurple:
Thanks guys 8)

I put his front paws on the table and then lift his back ones. He kinda jumped up after I picked up the back ones. :)
He looks really good! I'm impressed. 8)
That's a great cut. I love how Pepsi's head isn't too fluffy, but that there is still some fluff on the ears. You might just win the honor of being the picture I take with me next time I go to the groomers!

Thanks Steph and Deb :D

What a great honor that would be! 8) I use a #5 blade all over his body. I did not use the clippers on his ears this time. I just used thinning shears on his ears.
He looks SUPERB, Elissa! :cheer: You did a great job!! I love the ears the length they are. Tell Billy, "So there!!""
