Oh yes! I wondered the same thing too with our pup. Their priorities at such a young age are to eat, sleep and go potty! Just wait! He'll be busy in such a short time! Foz is now 5 1/2 months and BUSY BUSY BUSY! |
I have a puppy as well. When we first got her she did sleep alot. As they become more familar with you and your home and as the weeks progress they get more and more active.
Good luck with your little one. |
If she is eating OK and her poops are OK (for a puppy) and she doesn't appear to be ill, then she is:
1. A baby still and needs her rest. 2. She is confused in her new environment. Take this time to be crate training her! Wow! What an opportunity. She wants a place to sleep, give her one. Blessing come as surprises. |
Thanks for sharing your experiences as I was so worried about shamu's (my puppy) behaviour because I really love to play with dogs and forget about play my puppy somtimes simply refuse to go even for a simple walk. I am waiting for the day when he will start playing with me. |
Take advantage of their sleepy time now, the pup will be very active in no time!! Good luck and share some pictures! |
I really want to share his pictures but I don't know how to post them here in the forum |
