I have a lot of friends who are cows! Yes, really!!! My name is Jamison, and I have a very interesting story to tell you!!! You see, I was once a stray without a home, and I wandered around looking for food and hoping to find a nice place to call my own.... until one day I came upon a bunch of cows grazing in a field. They looked like very nice, pleasant animals, and I was lonely and on my own, so I figured "What the heck? I'll join the cows!!!!" They didn't seem to mind my company at all, and I certainly enjoyed theirs. We actually became quick friends. They communicated with "Mooooos" and I communicated with "Woofs" but we understood each other anyway! I stayed with the cows for for 4 or 5 days and was very content. I'd sleep with them when they slept and awaken and wander the fields with them while they grazed. But then.... the farmer decided he'd call a dogcatcher because he didn't think I belonged in a field full of cows. So this man named Jerry came and got me and off I went to the dog pound. I ended up at the Miami County Shelter. It really wasn't bad at all. They took me out on a leash now and then, and I got to play with kids! I really LOVE kids! One time, I got loose and I walked up to Jerry's house to get him to pet me. Then.... and this is the BEST part of the story.... one day this very sweet lady named Brownie came to visit. She thought I was quite handsome! She wanted to take me home, but she had a LOT of dogs already. (She is a foster mom for the Companion Animal Association!) Although Brownie really liked me a LOT, she had to leave me there. Then one day a couple of weeks later, Brownie came back!!! She told Jerry she just couldn't stop thinking about me!!! How COOL is that; huh?!!!! So Brownie took me home and now she is trying to help me find a "forever home" with a family that will adore me and love me always! I am uptodate on shots, am heartworm negative, and had a good vet check.. The vet said that I'm about a year old and that I'm (maybe) an Airedale Terrier mix. I'm possibly mixed with English Springer Spaniel or Sheepdog. They say that I am very UNIQUE looking and quite special! I have been neutered and micro-chipped, and I am now ready to go to my new home.... well, as soon as my new family FINDS ME that is!!!! Could YOU be that special family that will love me forever? | Ok, it says Miami in the description, but on closer inspection it said Miami County. That must be in Indiana...
