When should you take for 1sr visit to pro groomer?

Hello everyone! I love Allies coat right now, wish I could freeze her at this size and the length of her coat! Puppy look is so cute

Anyways, she is starting to get squirmy and jerky with me when I am trimming hair...When do you suggest I get her used to a real groomer? I don't want to wait till there is problems with matts, and then she freaks out over the sound of the clippers and being bathed somewhere else...She does not seem that fond of baths to begin with. I figure I will take her to the pro's a few times a year, plan to learn myself to groom at home. She is 4 months right now....

Sooner the better if she has had all her pup vacs. Now is the time to get her use to all that is required with grooming, bathing and blowdrying. The younger the better then you don't have any issues with them as far a nail clipping and ear plucking too.

Just make sure you pick a gentle professional groomer and see if you can stay for the first time, to see that they do a good job and are gentle with her if she does get a bit nervous.

Sometimes a professional groomer can give youngsters issues if they do have trouble with them, so check out a few before you decide which one to use.
