Marley is a goof ball and Mitch is the wicked big brother.
Walked them past the deep bit with the steep sides and played with them in a shallow bit for about an hour. So heading back to the car with 2 worn out old english we walked past the steep bit again and Mitch decides to nibble Marleys ear so Marley retaliates by nipping his bum.Mitch starts chasing Marley into the long grass and stops still at about a foot off the edge of the steep bit. Marley keeps running and then discovers 2 vital things about life (1)You can't run when there is no ground below you. 
(2) old english sheepdogs can't fly.
He fell 4 foot into the river.Luckily the river was deep enough to break his fall but shallow enough so he could walk in it.I had to walk a mile back up river before we could get him out. A man on the other side of the river saw the whole thing and he was peeing himself laughing at Marley and Mitch and he was calling them Tom and Jerry  |

Yes i had a heart attack .Then i laughed when i knew he was ok.I'm still going around picking grass seeds and bits of river plants out of him today 
I'm going to Scotland in a couple of months time and Marley will definitely be kept on a leash when we are out walking in the hills. |
