New Privilege for Foz

I thought I'd brag about this...sorry, I don't have a picture yet.

Fozzie has now been given the privilege of sleeping in the hall bathroom outside of our bedroom with Annie! :D

We had a dinner to go to on Saturday night and didn't get home until 10:30. Foz was in his crate while we were out, and we felt bad about putting him right back in. Thus we tried the bathroom and it has been great! We closed the doors to 2 of the bedrooms and had the gate up outside our room as usual. Then we laid another gate across the top of the stairs to prevent roaming. Foz and Annie went right into the bathroom and went to sleep. Best part...they are letting us sleep in! Foz typically was barking to get let out of his crate at about 5AM no matter what day. The last few days he wasn't in a hurry to pee once he got outside of his crate. I figured he was probably just getting lonely on our lower level all by himself :( Our boy is growing up!

Yea for Fozzie!!! :high5:

I bet he loves being able to sleep on the tile now that it is warmer out.
Foz seems to be VERY warm. He's always laying right on top of the AC vents. I wonder if I should get his hair cut. Do you remember how old Izzy was when she was first cut?
Great news!

I think it was at 4/5 months old that Bosley graduated to bedroom/bathroom sleeping privilages, too. He prefers the tiles for sure, as they are cooler than the bedroom carpet.

How is Annie taking to sharing the bathroom?
yay! Bathroom sleeping beats the crate any day! Bear took over the sleeping bathroom in our house. I think Clyde realized that Bear needed it more since his coat is so thick so he didn't seem to mind. Now Clyde sleeps in front of the fan on the floor next to me. I think it's also his way of "claiming" me.

Surprising us as always, Annie doesn't seem to mind at all. The bathroom is square so they do have room to lie next to one another...at least for now. It didn't leave Steve much room when trying to wash up though 8O

I think we took Iz for her first grooming and trim when she was 4 months. Not much hair was actually cut, but we wanted her to get used to going to the groomers. I don't think her hair was significantly cut until she was about 8 months or so.

Last summer she loved lounging on top of the air conditioning vents. This summer she has mostly been making due with the tile flooring. Only this past weekend has she rediscovered the delights of the air vents.
I've found with all 3 of our sheepies that sometimes the more you try to corrale them, whether in a crate or a room with the door closed, the more they act up. Once I gave them free reign of the house - no more problems!!

Congrats, Fozzie!
Dancer is such a little bugger about getting into stuff we have to keep the bathroom door closed at all times. LOL She will get into garbage if there is any, nose open cupboard doors and eat toothbrushes , toothpaste, anything really, anytime she can. LOL

Sky is the toilet drinker, and will get her head stuck because the lid is down, so she pushes it up, sticks her head in to drink and gets stuck.

I wish my girls were more reliable about housetraining, but if it's raining, guaranteed Dancer will go in the house. :? She won't if shes in her crate though, and she really seems to love her crate, even left open she prefers to sleep in it.

Panda is very reliable as far as housetraining goes, but she loves to chew things, preferably shoes and wires.
YAY FOZZIE! :clappurple:

That's so good to hear. It's so nice when they finally start to become more reliable. Pip is usually very good in the bedroom with us, although we have had a sore tummy issue or two and I have to keep the closet door closed or AHEM... DON'T READ THIS DARCY! Pip will destroy my shoes.
:cheer: YAY FOR FOZZIE!!! :high5: :yay:
You'll probably get to sleep in a little on the weekends.
My two are so lazy.. They wake up around 8am, will go out the dog door, do their business and come back inside and go right back to sleep. 8)
Go Foz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It so cool that he is growing up and behaving.....

Kar...are you MAD leaving your closet door open???? So, tell the truth...how many shoes have you lost to Pip the termite?
way to go foz your growing up now :cheer: :cheer:  :cheer: :cheer:
WOW - what a great accomplishment - especially the sleeping in part!!! :D
WOO HOO, smart boy, way to go Foz Man  :yay:
Well done Fozie !

Darcy re: shoe thing - personally I've lost 5 pairs !!!!!!!! think Ollie has a thing for 4" heels, kinky :twitch:
That's so great for Fozzie. He's such a good boy. And Annie is so great. You are very fortunate that she is adapting so well.

I've also been letting Maggie sleep outside the crate. She hasn't settled into a single place yet but she hasn't destroyed anything either. I'm so proud of her. Maggie's freedom seems to have motivated Chum to sleep in the hallway or in the bathroom though. But that's fine.
It's so nice when they start to be trusted more.

Barney has just gained upstairs privileges...and so far so good...
Last night was night #3 in the bathroom and going strong. The two of them just go in there and fall asleep. Annie is the one that woke up early yesterday and we had to tell her to go back to bed. Foz doesn't seem to move much :D
Well, he made it almost an entire week! No pee or poop; however, last night he puked in the hallway. He must have thought he should clean up as he ATE it! Yuck! We weren't exactly sure which pup is was, but knew it was Foz the minute he walked on over. He really stinks today! Such is life with a doggie! :D
