Is cantaloupe okay for dogs?
 He doesn't hardly eat anything but his dog food, doesn't really like people food. Well, I was eating cantaloupe chunks, and Jasper walked up to me with his head tilted and expression that just said "please, can I have some?" I offered him a piece, he licked it, and then ate it. I was surprised. Now, I'm wondering if it's safe for him though. Should have checked that out before I gave him a piece. |

Seems Beau has taken to scarfing down anything he finds on the counter.

I hope so too, mine love cantaloupe also  and oranges, mandarines, banannas, apple and water melon, I think they must be a bit fruity   |
| Maggie, Chumley and my brother's dog Charm all enjoyed cantelope, watermelon (with rinds), and peaches (fruit only -- no one gave them the seed which is poisonous) while we were on vacation. I was worried about it but no one had any problems with it. |
