| I didn't watch it basically, because I don't care for her. But the women here at work were saying the same things you were saying. They were very disappointed in her because she used to be so "cute", but apparent now, just plain white trash. Ain't fame great? |

| I didn't see it, but holy cow am I ever hearing about it a lot!!! Every radio station is talking about it, every news show at least mentions it, and I think Star tv is going to run britney bashing for at least a week.
She certainly didn't help her cause any by the look of it. |
| Well, what do I know.
Compared to her usual trashy self, and except for the gum chewing, I thought she came across well as a new mom with a lot of weight to lose to get back to pre-baby weight. If she can't do that, so much for her teen siren self, she'll have to morph into someone like Shania Twain or Bonnie Raitt. The uproar over her baby in the front seat for a 2 minute drive is just preposterous -- sure it's more dangerous than riding in the back in a rear facing seat, but that doesn't make it dangerous in and of itself. and how many of us would have stopped to take the time to put the baby into the car seat with all of those people buzzing around and harassing us? I have a lot of sympathy for her, even though her sought-after fame and juvenile tawdriness is to blame. I spent a lot of time driving my family's car from my dad's lap, and my dog isn't completely restrained and separated from the driver's compartment, and a whole host of things that are somewhat more dangerous. Sometimes -gasp- I don't put on my seat belt. But that's what America is about, right? My freedom to do with myself (and my pets and my kids) as I please. Or are we going to subjugate every bit of ourselves to the Government in the name of incremental safety and security? I'm sorry, was this out loud?

| OK, I just watched most of the interview again. I didn't realize she was pregnant again, so that explains all the weight. To tell yo uthe truth, I hadn't noticed what she was wearing before... it did look a bit tight. I suppose she could afford some more maternity clothes.
I just feel so sorry for her, she's so young, what, 24 married and with one kid and another on the way? Shes been performing since age 11 with two seasons on the Mickey Mouse Club , then touring with 'N Sync and then her own #1 album in 1999, she was what, 17? No wonder she's so childish at times. I say give her a break, hopefully she'll mature. |
| The gum chomping drove us NUTS! We couldn't believe her reps didn't tell her to SPIT THAT OUT. Every time they cut to her (between showing clips of her past), she was chewing that gum. I love Matt L., but I didn't think he was a good choice for the interview. Someone like Barbara Walters would have told her to spit her gum out ...or have asked more questions.
I don't think she's terrible for those "baby incidents" and agree everyone has those oops moments. no one knows what it's like to have that many people swarming you. I might have held onto my baby in the FRONT SEAT too if I lived only 5 min. away, and I went through all she did. Now, I probably wouldn't have if it was down a highway, but... my point is, she's not that terrible. Other things can easily cover that department (her bad image). The fact she didn't "GET IT" or anything Matt was telling her made me want to put a gun to my mouth. I agree that her loverboy is playing her like the idiot tramp she is. W/o her, he wouldn't even have a CD ...and now, he'll never have to worry about his kids. He may be ghetto, trashy, and have 0 class... but marrying Brit was a smart move. |

I think by marrying him she knocked herslef down a few rugs on the ladder. He's knew his meal ticket when he saw one. Not a stupid man at all but she's a few sandwiche's short of a picinic. |
| I rolled my eyes when she made a comment to Matt that insinuated she was still a sweet little Southern Girl. You can't say that and look like you bought your clothes from the dollar store when you're trying to CHANGE the negative image of yourself. If people felt sorry for her, they don't after this interview. |

Whenever I make a "parenting" mistake, I always say "oops, pulled a Britney" 
Like today, I was on my knees and had lil J in one hand... I tried to stand up after we were finished playing, but a certain someone... let's call her Yuki... was standing on my ankle/pant leg. I came very close to falling (which would have been lil J smashing his face to the ground and then me on top). Luckily, I caught myself. Crap happens. Thankfully I'm not on camera. 
However, I don't understand how her sun was eating his toes in a front-facing carseat in that one photo that is all over the tabloids. If he was buckled in correctly (in otherwords, tightly), then how could he lean forward that much? |
