Ok, give us a hint about Quote: regional manager for a major car sales company Always lookin' for a good car deal
Did I mention we've been driving a 2006 Cadillac DTS for the last week while Joan's car is in the shop? Lovely vehicle, and at $216 for the week quite a bargain. |
Congrats on the new job! |
Hi Ed,
Good to see you back on line!! Darcy, you forgot to mention the home cooked meals too...that's gotta be a bonus! Congrats on your new job Ed! Marianne and the boys |
Congrats on the job Ed

Sorry about the lost part... |
I think there is a song goes something like........ "Life is about changing, nothing ever stays the same". Or the pithy but true "you're young you'll adjust"...................
That's alot of new stuff for you!!!! Good Luck!!!!! Are you still in the NYC area???? What kind of cars, maybe you could start your own OES.org car buying club!!!! |
Yay Ed. Sounds like life is beginning to fall into place for you. You can save a boatload of money while living with your folks and use it as a down payment for a place of yours and Jack's. I'm sorry about your lost love, but when the time is right, it will happen.
Ron, I'm jealous of your rental Caddy. Nothing beats a Cad for smooth riding. |
Ed, welcome back! You were missed. I, too, am in automotive, but at the dealership level. Sounds like home is a good place for you right now. Time to pull yourself together and re-group. And I bet Jack loves living with "grandma"! Listen...as a Jewish mother, I know...she wasn't good enough for you! You'll find better!!!!! |
Ed! I am so glad that you are back and okay!
MISSED YA! |
Aww!!
We missed ya Ed! Glad things are progressing a little smotther for ya. And as for your romance... SO SORRY! That sucks big time! Have faith- you're an intellegent, good looking, well employed young man with great taste in pets... the right one is out there for you... and my sister is still single |
Welcome back, Ed! We missed you! It sounds like things are starting to fall into place for you and living with the parents does have it's perks! |
Sounds great, good luck with the new job. Love is something that will totally blind side you, and BOTH of you will know it when it happens. Happened to me, and we've been married for 8 yrs now. |

I think that's from Shakespere. Congrats on the new job. It's nice to be employed. (the receiving money part, I mean ) ~K. |
Congrats on the job, living at home does have its bonus - meals, dogsitters, cheap rent. I' do it but I think I kill my Dad in 2 days.
As for the loved and lost this is my theory (I'm 31 and still not married), it will happen when it happens until then, Women are like buses, miss one and another one comes along in 15 minutes. Don't rush anything. When you least expect it, it will fall into your lap. |
or in my case if you run and run really fast in the other direction, the bus turns around, speeds up and runs you over.... |

ROTFLMAO |
thanks for the kindness folks, for the record, i'm broken up about the love thing, but i know as much as anyone that life carries on. just a matter of letting the heart catch up with the head. |
Sorry Ed. Hey, I was on the 'bound when I met Joan. I had barely started to go back to work...
Good luck man! |

Good luck man! 'bounding is fun...that's one thing i'm looking foreward to, that awkward yet fun first relationship after the long one... |

That's right! I keep going to the dog park in the hopes of meeting single men there. So far, no good. The men I meet at the OES picnics either have 4 legs or are already attached. ~Katie. |
Hi Ed,
That's right Ed..go to a dog park!! Women outnumber the men in huge numbers. They'll be fighting over who gets to chat with you. Okay make that a priority..get your shoes on..comb your hair...out you go. Fresh air and walk with your favorite furballs will do wonders for you too. Good Luck! Marianne and the boys |

Marianne and the boys i prefer 'go to a regular park' then i'm the only guy there with a dog....my rule is when i say "careful he gets excited and jumps" the girl in question has to be OK with it, that means she's easy going. |
or hard of hearing
or too "innocent" to understand what you just said |

naive is cute.....to a point. i don't want a moron. |
Glad your back Ed! Pull up a chair and stay a while! |
Congrats on the new job! Sorry about the heartbreak. I had just gotten out of a relationship when I met Jason. I definitely was not looking to get into another so fast. Well, we met, got engaged 3 months later, and we married 3 months after that. Since we were only 19 & 21, everyone thought we were making a huge mistake, but here we are 8 years later sill happy together. We both just knew it was right. It'll find you and hit you like a bolt of lightning when you least expect it. |
Welcome back, Ed. Glad to hear about the job! And even though you don't really want to be living with the 'rents, at least they're there to help you. As for the love, yep, it hurts, and you were very prophetic when you said you have to let the heart catch up to the head. Well put. Just give it time, but don't stop looking until then! |

give me some credit, i'm still a guy..... |
Hey Ed,
Your name came up in conversation the other day...well not you specifically but in response to some beautiful single girls that stopped to chat with me. It was their first time at the dog park and they seemed dissapointed they had yet not run into those cute single guys they've heard go to dog parks. I mentioned they were out there...so come on ED! Get out there and meet all those ladies that are just dying to meet you. Told you before the women outnumber the men at those places!! Regular parks are good too but at least at a dog park if you're holding a plastic bag of umm you know....chances are she is too. :O) Marianne and the boys |

Bring your sheepie to Petsmart - the toy aisle. When we bring ours everyone is all over them. Just think of the attention you could get..... And you don't have to be holding a bag of ..... |
