Speaking of road signs........ I had a funny thing happen this week; As most of you know I run a Cardiac Rehab program. One of my patients came in the other day quite distressed because she noted that the upon turning onto the the road where my clinic is there is a sign that read "DEAD END". She felt that this was a paticularly distressing sign to read just before entering a Medical Clinic. She wanted to start a petition to have the sign changed to something a bit more appropriate. The practice manager of the clinic suggested she call the highway department. She did and within 48 hours the sign had been taken down and replaced with one reading "NO OUTLET"!!!!!!!!! |

Driving down a dirt road last summer, I came upon a sign that said Dead End. Just below it was a sign pointing the same way - it said Cemetery!  |
