The song stuck in my head lately when I'm at work is Montreal Calling by Mobile, probably because the chorus says "Take me outta here" LOL |

The song stuck in my head are, pay me my money back, by springsteen |
I like a little bit of everything, but I'm mostly a top 40 gal...guaranteed to stay sort of hip that way. I continue to enjoy Madonna songs, but her concert tickets are too expensive this time around. |
Well, Since I grew up near Detroit, Id have to say that ALL of my music is based off of old rap and disco....Michael, Prince, Grandmaster flash,Maryjane girls, Donna Summers, Four tops...etc......nothing like watching a preppy white girl who cant dance and cant sing...lol |

i collect old country blues records, but i can only listen to that stuff on my record player.
otherwise i tend to listen to 60's and 70's rock and roll that rips off the blues. right now i am really into the animals! |
Whatever is on the radio, we rarely listen to our cd's, unless it's, THE WIGGLES.
I have my radio tuned to Country, or the current trends, and 80's stuff...constantly changing the station. |
I listen to Gospel music, love Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli oh and of course music from the 70s & 80s. Disco Queen here!
Joe listen's to lots of Blues music (the old kind), Zydeco, Motown oldies, Janis Joplin (I don't care what anyone says - that woman could NOT sing), Eric Clapton, older rock My youngest son listens to country. My oldest son listens to rap. The dogs listen to ..... well they sure don't listen to me! |
Cool Jazz |
I like pretty much will listen to any type of music but gravitate towards electronica & dub, mid to uptempo kind of tunes. Rarely listen to anything mainstream though...
Some of the CD's I have loaded in iTunes are: The Twilight Singers, Telepopmusik, Pepé Deluxe, Thievery Corporation, The Dandy Warhols, Royksopp, The Strokes, The Flaming Lips, James Lidell, Moodorama, Tosca, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Trash Can Sinatras, The Cure, Nicola Conte, Dzihen & Kamien, Brazilectro Compilations, Saint Germain, Lisa Shaw, Pizzicato Five, Jazzanova, Funky Lowlives, Daft Punk, Lemon Jelly, Fila Brazilla, Brian Eno, Gus Gus, Moby, Marvin Gaye, Parliamant & I'll always love Madonna. |
I listen to everything, mostly country though. My new favorite is Il Divo. Those boys can sing and they are very very easy on the eyes. |
Quote: My new favorite is Il Divo
Hmmm. Haven't heard them yet, but I saw a video last nite of a young female duo called "The Wreckers". They have great voices, both play guitar and thier CD is mostly balads about men who wronged them (you know, normal country stuff). They looked very up and coming. |
I like the Wreckers too, Michelle Branch is part od the duo. Leave the peices behind is a great song.
Il Divo is the Opera group of 4 young men that simon Cowell put together. Most of their music is done in Italian or spanish. |
Nothing like Motown, it's still great. Country and 50's round out my list. |
I love Motown.
Anyone heard of Patrizio Buanne Kim & MAIZIE |
I really listen to everything - just depends on my mood for the day. |
When I'm in the car, I primarily listen to Christian music (mostly alternative type). Other than that, I will lsiten to the alternative rock stations and like country if it's people like the Dixie Chicks, Garth, Tim McGraw, Clint Black, and Pat Green. |
