We were on a cruise!
We've been on a 7 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera! We had the best time. Seven days was about right because the Sheepie withdrawals were INTENSE. We went on a shore excursion in Puerta Vallarta to the island of Las Caletas. (Warm smell of Caletas, rising up through the air, relax said the nice man.........OOPS sorry vacation mode you know). Went snorkeling, eating and sunning and a very long catamaran ride. Very, very long in the back (seasick section) of the boat. In Mazatlan, we had an amazing tour of most of the city for hours. We had the best tour guide and barely made it back to the ship on time. Oh well, a story to tell. I like living on the edge you know. The best beach for us was Cabo San Lucas and it was really pretty. As we lay relaxing on the beach approached every five minutes by locals selling their wares for $1. I have to say it was part of the charm. The beach was great and the water was refreshing. We took a water taxi and walked a little of the city. OK, I have to tell you the distracting part. We are laying on the beach and of course my dog radar is at full peak. I'm watching this dog lay in the shade with NO WATER on the hot beach. I'm watching and watching and telling my husband THAT DOG HAS NO WATER!! He's telling me not to get involved that the dog belongs to some people and it could start some trouble. He is a total dog lover fanatic too, by the way. So, I can't relax because I'm so worried about this dog. Long story short, I risked it all (Hubby being mad at me, or beat up?) to ask the guy if it was his dog and he denied it so then I gave the dog water. And then before we left I gave it some more water. RELIEF for me any way. Sure was glad to get home to where the dogs are loved and spoiled and fed and watered. Highly recommend a cruise. Fun, Fun, Fun, great food and lots of it, great people, music, lots to do and NO CELL PHONES. Missed you all! And.....I only gained ONE pound.  Honest, really.

| Sounds wonderful! I LOVE cruises. They are definitely the way to go as you get ALL the food you want and entertainment too. Everything's right there so you don't have to think about anything...just get up and go!
