Help a closing shelter in West Virginia
There is a sanctuary in Spencer, W.V. that is being shut down and all the dogs(80) will be shipped to the county animal shelter (which is a kill shelter). Their fate will be very questionable there, as they reportedly "depopulated" (AKA - killed) all of the animals in the shelter when the shelter director fell ill, and the staff could not maintain the care of less than 20 animals. If you or your organization can help by taking one, or ten or any number in between, please contact me via email, and I will pass on the info for the sanctuary. PLEASE CROSS POST THIS FOR ME!!! | Oh dear!! This is the shelter from which I pulled the OES rescue, Olivia, a couple of months ago. I do so hate to hear this as they really were trying to make a difference in that area. |
