Indeed, sheepdogs remain in our hearts for as long as our hearts beat. I still feel very close to all my sheepies who are no more licking my chin. They do bond very tight with their humans and it is difficult when one party leaves. I adopted two orphans and indeed they had trouble at first.
I know maggie mu mu was a fine dog and is very, very missed. susan |
Thank you for your kind words...
Maggie will not only be missed by the family, but she was the 'mumma' of our two other chihuahuas who miss her just as much. Chachi, the tanned one, was her 'baby' , now she never leaves my side. Tawnie, the chocolate one loved her in his own special way. Her day was May 11/06, and her grave is in the back , not far from the pond. She loved it here and will always stay close to our hearts. Maggie's kids.... |
I'm so sorry Every sheepie who crosses the bridge leaves us with a piece of themselves to help us through the rough times. |
I'm so sorry for your loss. She was obviously a special girl. |
Im sorry for your loss.... In time her memory will bring smiles instead of tears. |
I am very sorry to hear of your family's loss.
We lost our German Shepherd in February and buried him in his favorite spot in the backyard. It helps us to know that he is still close. |
I'm so sorry for your loss. One of the great things about this forum is that it is a place for you to share your memories and stories. We are here to listen to any of those you would like to share, when you are ready. Maggie looks like she was a very precious and much loved sheepie |
I'm so sorry for your loss. Sheepies are remembered always as they are such special babies. Hugs and kisses to you |
Again , thank you all for your kind words... I guess my favourite memory of her is that she was always protective of her cookies, and she would growl if anyone came near. I'd put my head near her head and she'd growl, I'd growl, she'd growl, I'd growl, it was so cute and in rythem. She was so gentle and wouldn't hurt a soul. Another cute thing about her is when she'd pretend to bark, all we would say is "Wanna go in the truck?" She'd get all excited and would bark, then while putting on shoes and you glance over at her , tongue hanging out and all, she'd huff and puff and "pretend to bark" but would just wait until we were ready.
Maggie as I put in my earlier posts, was the 'mummah' to Chachi and Chachi would crawl right in between Maggie's paws and clean her ears, her teeth , it was cute , especially when she had her gums cleaned, she would let out these moans/growls, like she wasn't sure if she liked it or not, but just let it happen anyway. She was the best , no other could take her place, thank you all for letting me share my Maggie moments with you... |
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved maggie, it is always so hard when our babies have to cross the rainbow bridge. They leave forever a special place in out hearts and memories that is with us for always.
Thinking of you at this sad time. |

Thank you for sharing your memories. It's amazing the joy they can bring even when they are gone physically. So sad for you and wishing you comfort. She was beautiful inside and out. |

They never really leave us, though. She'll always be a part of you. |
