LMAO. You've gotta love how they keep busy while you are gone.
At least it wasn't major destruction. When I was pregnant our German Shepherd ate 10 out of 12 rolls of TP. Pepsi thought that was pretty cool and dragged the TP from the half eaten roll and decorated the house. lol Pepsi was on 10 mos old at the time. Harley was 5 yrs old. Harley knew better but I guess my hormones were driving him crazy. He also ate a double bed, boxsprings and comforter. That was before we got Pepsi....so it could have only been him. |
Think of it this way...better TP than your couch.
It is amazing what they can find when they are looking for something to chew. Amanda |
I completely sympathize. Maggie is a member of the TP club. She also goes for paper towels and sponges. I hope she grows out of it. Here's a blast from the past:

Val, there's appears to be more than just TP in the devastation behind Maggie?
Bailey loves TP rolls, and has pulled all of the TP off the roll once or twice when I've been away on business. I just learned that he has to make one "statement" every time I leave town. My husband has been hiding that from me to protect Bailey. One time he destroyed our master bathroom rug, and my husband slept right through it. Tim actually went out the next day and replaced the rug before I came home so that I wouldn't find out! I'm not sure which one is worse, my husband or my dog ... |
Hee hee! It's amazing what busy bodies they can be. Foz loves to sneak into the bathroom and pull on the tp.
Val, I still LMAO every time I see that picture of Maggie. Deb, that is a very funny story about replacing the rug |

You mean Chummie? She does look devastated. As best I could tell, that was several rolls of TP and an undetermined number of kitchen sponges. |
spitting coffee here....lol val.... |
LOL at your picture Val
I am thrilled that Noodle can't open the cabinets yet I keep him well away from the furniture while we are out but he has been eyeing the kitchen chairs He has his first obedience class on Monday and the trainer is going to help us with nipping and jumping up- helpful info before he gets big enough to surf the counters! |
I love these stories!!
That picture of Maggie is one of my all time favorites, Val. Classic!! Lark, that's just the tip of the iceburg! Your sweet little Noodle will be into everything and then some. Soon, you'll just laugh at it like all sheepie lovers. This is a regular occurance at my house. I've finally learned to lock the crates when I leave the house so they don't take the bedding out and play tug of war with it. That's my darling Genevieve looking "sheepish": |
Oh, please tell me you got pictures!!!! |
Sue I love it that your hubby protects Bailey!!! My Mom and Dad's dog will unroll and TP the entire house when she is mad at them!! She's 13 and she still does it!! |
We have been rollled, more than once by Chipper...
Our bathroom doors now stay closed! LOL |
Tammy-
LOL at your picture, Genevieve is so funny! I am holding good thoughts in my conciousness and know that Noodle is not going to be destructive like Loki I can dream right? Alissa- How is Chipper feeling? Pancur cleared Noodle right up, no problems since we treated him. Lark |
I love it!
When Bogart was a puppy I left our dining room to put clothes in the washer. When I returned, he had rolled the tp from the roller in the br(still attached. It was Bogart's very first party decoration attempt. Tp was weaved around the room, chair legs-everywhere! He had that "I'm going to make you proud Mom!" expression on his very guilty sheepie face. I wish I had taken pictures!! |

Foz is an eating machine. I should have named him HOOVER like the vacuum cleaner. Foz's nipping has gotten better in the last few weeks...shouldn't say that as he'll probably be a monster when I get home tonight |
