Hi Everybody
All is well here, Baby Ethan is due in 5 weeks. The baby shower is this Saturday. My SIL was supposed to do the baby shower but she backed out having nothing done and only a couple of weeks until the shower date, so I had to take over. There's been a major family fued going on over that, but I think we have the wrinkles smoothed out now. So my world has been revolving around making this shower really special for my daughter. Although I'm looking forward to the shower, I will just be glad when it's all over and done. Can you believe I had to clean my house! LOL Oh the indignity of it all. Hee Hee.... Mallory helped, so she thinks. I know I spent one full day chasing dust bunnies out from under the beds! Little does Mallory know she is getting a bath tomorrow so she is all spruced up for the event. She looks like such a bum right now. She has discovered the joys of digging holes and then rolling in them. I guess some things will never change, she still claims the nick name of Pig Pen!  But we love the ragamuffin just the same.
Mallory is just getting over a nasty ear infection, just finished up her antibiotics yesterday. Poor baby she was miserable. But doing great now. Well she's determined to help me type here and it's just not working for me so I'll say bye for now. I hope to be back on here regularly soon. Going to try to do a little catch reading now. Just wanted to say HI to everybody and let you know I'm still around. I'll be back.  |

Hi, glad to see you back, even briefly Good luck with the shower, I've done those and they are lots of work. Poor Mallory, ear infections are awful  Post some new pictures when you can, I bet she's getting big. |

I actually went on your forum the other day to see if you were still alive! For some reason I was thinking about Mallory and her tail and thought I'd give it a shot. Probably should have logged in to see if my account was still active. 
Hope the shower goes well. Too bad we didn't know about it early, I have a whole box of rubber ducks left over from when I threw my best friend her shower. You'd have had an instant theme! |

Actually the theme is Jungle Animals. The babies room is done in the Zanzibar Collection here: http://www.babysupermall.com/main/products/kli/kli5900beds.html I'm having a custom cake made with jungle animals on it and it will say Welcome to the Jungle Baby Ethan. As well as I bought lots of jungle related decorations like palm trees, parrots, Palm trees with monkeys on them for table center pieces, the table clothes have jungle animals on them and we got a bunch of blow up jungle animals to set around and for the smaller guest to take home with them as they leave the party. For the adults I got jungle print gift bags and filled them full of goodies. So now all we have to do is decorate the morning of the shower and we are good to go. Tammy can't wait to see you at the shower, hey favor, bring my thinning shears with you so I can trim around Mallorys eyes. |

| She knows about the shower. But doesn't have a clue about all the decorations I've gotten or what the cake looks like. Wanted to have a few surprises for her.
And she is doing very well. She had an UTI which was causing some major contractions and I thought Ethan may come early, but the OB got them to stop and treated the UTI and all is well. The due date is July 8th, maybe we'll get a little firecracker for the 4th! |

Don't let a family feud bring you down. I hate when families fights about the little stuff.  There is so much more important things, like the upcoming birth of Ethan.
If Shuffles is anything like Rags you might want to hold off on the bath until Saturday morning. Rags gets clean and back to a pig pen in one day. |
