I would defainetly consider it, but we dont have a fence. We will be moving in June to a house with a biiiig yard and a biiiig fence (the fence is a pre req to us moving there..... Dogs, Kids... need I say more) Fences Rock!!! Anyways, Hoping Patrick finds a home before then, but if not I will keep lookin up the neoesr site ( I am in Maine ) and will check around.
Do you know if they found Maisey yet?? Liz |
Maisy hasn't been "caught" but she's been sighted! For those that don't know - Maisy is Patrick's sister!
There story can be seen on neoesr.org (under available dogs - the 4 dogs pictured at the bottom). Hopefully Maisy will be caught soon and be able to live the life she deserves - as a dog that is LOVED and cared for! Kristen |
Thank you for letting me know about her.... When was she last sighted? I am planning to go out again Friday and possibly Saturday with my OES and his bro to see if we can get her to come close enough to let us catch her... Is there a general area that seems to be of interest to her?
I'll pack plenty of doggie treats.... I am always within 15 minutes of where she has been sighted and REALLY want her to get home to her people. Liz (ooooh as soon as we get that fence....... I love rescuing doggies........) We will have a wonderful neighborhood (lady next door is a doggie daycare.... so we plan on part wooden fence, to avoid over the fence problems) LOL Thanks again for posting about Maisey!!!! I'll search for a patrick owner as well!!! |
Liz,
Maisy was last seen (the last I heard) near the Riverside Industrial Park/Riverside Golf Course areas. It's hard to believe she's still out there on her own! Thank you so much for trying to help find her - that's very generous and kind! I wish I was closer and could offer some assistance! When you get to the new home - be sure to check out NEOESR and fill out an application (there doesn't have to be a particular dog you are interested in - they'll contact you if one comes up that "fits" with your household! ) There are many dogs that don't appear on the website - but that homes are desperately needed or! Foster homes are also needed! |
I also cant beleive that she is still out there on her own....... I hope she is still alright and has found some food.... I will defainatley contact when we are in our new home.... Thanks so much and if u hear about Maisey, let me konw.....
