| Hey Kaye!! What your doing is tough,I know because Im doing the same in my state. As I posted a while back I rescued a mini horse from a dealer.He had been beaten,starved,neglected,and was on his way too the slaughter.What pi**es me off is the dealer continues too sell these minis too slaughter. Altho I am NOT a true beleaver in peta,I feel they go way over the top and do many unethical things too get their point across,i did contact them too make this dealers life as miserable as she does all these beautiful minis.Also I have met w/ the head of the Ag dept. of Wi,so theres alot of hell coming her way. Also I have gone door too door too have ppl sign a petition too stop the slaughter of ALL horses. So keep it up Kaye and God Bless!!! BTW..my Oliver who i rescued is my little angel.He has put his wall down and puts his trust into me 100%,and he knows he is loved and will NEVER be hurt again.Altho he was pi**ed last night due too his sheth being cleaned!!LOL!  I didnt do it,but one of the teens there did it for him.Poor baby!!LOL!!!Tanyathenurse |
| You Know Tanya it doesn't make any difference what kind of Animal it is IT SHOULD HAVE SOME RIGHTS...... I live in a very poor county and the people here don't take care of anything. If it doesn't ride in the back of their Pick Up Truck they SHOOT IT....... If they CAN"T KILL IT AND EAT IT ....It isn't worth anything. Poor TL { My Left Hand } has a Baby deer, litter of pot bellied pigs, 6 young gaots that were starving. The Judge here just slaps their hands and lets them go. Some one has to take them .. Peta does have a lot of good points. Although you are right they do go to far sometimes. I just can't stand by and do nothing. When I get this rescue on its feet ......I am going to Austin to Lobby. They will do something to SHUT ME UP....... At 64 I need to get it in gear .....WHILE I CAN STILL RAISE MY LEG HIGH ENOUGH TO KICK A.... Sheepie Hugs, Kaye |
