Julie doesn't like baths???? Need HELP!!!

Julie doesn't like a bath at all. I do use my hairdryer to dry her. I try to dry her as much with a towel first. She started itching every now and then. So when we took her to the vet we asked him, "She still seems to itch at times." The vet stated not to use the hairdryer since this dries her skin out more. How do ya'll dry your OES? Or any suggestions in having her enjoy her bath? I may need to take her somewhere to get bathed so get eventually will get trained and used to grooming etc...

Don't sweat the small stuff. At her age, make it a playtime. Nice voice, lots of oooo's and aaaahhhhhh's. Keep the face for last. (Mine are good now, but the face always seems to be the touchy part)

I towel dry in the bathroom - three or four towels for each baby. If it is cold outside, I will use the hairdryer briefly to leave them just damp. Mostly, I let them air dry.
Make sure you use the cool setting on the dryer, it should dry her skin out less. You may want to consider a regular dog dryer, I have a duck and a metro air force commander, both work well without drying out the skin.
She's so small you may want to towel dry and then let her air dry. She'll probably spaz out and run around the house to dry herself off. Then she'll be nice and fluffy! :D
Chipper wasn't initially pleased, but he is getting bettter. I did dry on the low/cool setting, after using towels- and HE LOVED this: we put a bunch of towels in a lump and Chipper rolled in them and had a blast- we also let the warm air putside/sun dry him a bit too... we used some small treats to feed him throughout the bath to keep his attention some and he is doing better!
If you ever want to keep her in full coat she'll have to get used to the dryer now... in a full coat a dryer must be used or it will mat and mold will grow in the mats.
If you plan on keeping her in a short coat, then it doesn't really matter if you let her air dry now as long as you fully brush her out before her bath and after she is fully dry to prevent the felt like matting at the skin, which can happen with a short coat as well and is just as unhealthy for their skin.
Both of mine love the bath. I also wait to do the face until last.
When I apply the shampoo I give doggie massages to them. They love it!!
Rags seems deathly afraid of the dryer so we are going to have to work on that.
If her skin is drying out and she is itchy try Oatmeal Shampoo.
Thanks for all the tips! Where do you get a doggie hairdryer at??? We plan to keep her coat longer than a puppy cut if possible. We'll have to use doggie treats also- good idea! I also like the towel idea! I figure anything would help! THanks a bunch!!! :D
