He was really quite drunk, weaving and stumbling, slurring his words, carrying a beer and attempting to argue with me about being in the wrong house! I couldn't believe it! Dancer and Sky were barking, but I had put them in their crates so we could watch tv in peace without the three-mad-dog-run all over and in front of the TV. Panda walked right up to the guy and shoved her head under his hand to be pet. He didn't even notice.... Some watch dog!! I argued and practically push the guy out, and he kept trying to come back in! After I finally got him out he wandered across my lawn and to my neighbors door, doing pretty much the same thing. I was on the phone with the police by this time, who said they would be right there, and 15 minutes later two cop cars finally show up to patrol the now barren street. *shaking my head* I have no idea if the guy fell down the hill into the river, or went into someone else's house, but I think he was gone by the time the police went by. I think the guy was fairly harmless, but it kind of freaked me out a bit anyway. LOL And where was hubby? Sitting on the couch still watching TV |

Wow...that would have scared me to death! I'm LOL at Panda though. |
I can't believe you were arguing with the guy while your husband was sitting on the couch. Did he at least tell you what you missed?
Billy would have been up with shotgun in hand. I guess your hubby figured you wer tough enough to handle the situation. Did he ever know what was going on? Panda sounds a lot like Rags. lol She will bark as she is running up to a stranger then quickly jump up to get some love Glad you were ok and got a harmless drunk.... |
Huuby was sitting maybe 6 feet away... the guy was right in front of the tv for crying out loud so it's not like he can say he didn't notice.... GRRRRRRRRRRRR
LOL I try really hard not to say unkind things to my husband..... but....well you know... adrenaline and all... He knows I'm not impressed. LOL I didn't yell or anything.... I just glared at him and said "Whatta man!" Oh well, I'm kind of laughing about it now... LOL |
Oooooobviously he trusted you to handle the situation.
I'm very proud of him tha he didn't feel a macho need to run to your assistance!* *Hey we gotta stick together.... |
You sure they weren't filming the next episode of ER - I joke, but I would of been scared witless - hope you and the babies are OK |
YIKES!!
From now on, Keep the doors locked!! Scary!! |
Scary! I think it's funny that the drunk guy didn't even noticed a giant furry creature walking up to him!
Glad you're okay...and maybe try locking at least ONE of those doors |
OH MY G-D! I would've been scared to death. Silly Panda and hubby No offense guys (Ron), they get sucked into the tv so easily and the rest of the world just goes on by. I don't get it! |

Glad you're okay...and maybe try locking at least ONE of those doors Well you would think with 3 big dogs, lights on, and 2 adults sitting right there etc that locking the doors wouldn't be necessary! LOL I was trying to let in some fresh air by leaving the windows on the storm doors open. LOL It still just amazes me that Panda didn't react in the slightest. She literally welcomed him, and could care less who he was or what he was doing, just walked right up to him to be petted! I guess it's a good thing in a way, the last thing I need is another dog who barks her head off, Dancer took care of that job quite well for the first year of her life, and now Sky has taken over that particular responsibility. She is such a spaz. LOL *sigh* it looks like it going to rain again so I better go pick up poop while I can and maybe get some of the yard mowed. |
