I don't know about columbus but here in Newark, OH I saw a place that said if you aren't satisfied with the cut then it is free. So I figure they must be pretty confident in themselves. It is called Americas animal society I think. I can find out for sure if you would want to drive out here. |
I am a state certified master groomer who is in Springfield about 35 miles west of Columbus. I will take the time to brush out an OES. If you are interested please contact me at heatherweese@aol.com. |
Where in Columbus? If you are north- we have a great groomer in Marysville. PetSmart is expensive- and I have not been impressed...
If you are interested send me a PM and I will forward the information. Lori |
Hi, I would be glad to groom your dog. We are All About The Dogs in German Village, phone 444-9274 however I will have to tell you that we do not demat badly matted dogs.
I wonder if you know how hard that is on your dog? I am not trying to be unkind, I love the dogs. We are about maintenance and keeping up with your grooming needs. Sometimes you do need to start over if the matting is bad and sometimes it's worse than it seems. We groom by appointment and call when your dog is finished also your dog is always in view of the public. Our groomers are compassionate and kind and do a great job at a reasonable price. Our web site is allaboutthedogspetwash.com Cindy Hunter [owner] |
My name is Sara, I groom at Village Gate Animal Hospital and Pet Resort in Grandview. I groomed for petsmart in grove city for 4 years and left for the same reason you do not want to go there. It was no longer about the dogs, just how many dogs you could shave a day. I would be interested in doing a consult for you at no charge to let you know if the mats could be removed. I do not like to bash other groomers, but I would like you to beware of groomers saying they are state certified, they may be certified through a company but unfortunately there is no state regulations in Ohio for dog grooming. Anybody can pick up a pair of clippers and call themselves a groomer and there is nothing the state can do about it if they are paying taxes. |
