Ryan's B-day
Since I haven't aged at all, I am now too young to be his Mom. lol I cannot believe he is 8  I still remember when all he said was "Ba".
Now I can't get him to shut up! He was so excited this morning. He woke up said "Is it my birthday? How old am I now, 8?" Then I got him his B-day present from Grandma which was in my car. When I got back from the car I told him this was from Grandma and Grandpa he said "Wow that got here fast" LOL I told him it was in the car and I got it from her on Saturday. He asked for a Banana Split Cake... I think he meant a Banana Cream Pie, so I bought one. I can't wait to give him the presents I bought him. Clothes, but he's a fashion king. He just loves clothes. Besides he has enough toys for 20 kids. I also know that his Dad and Grandparents got him toys. |

Ryan had a good B-day. I read all your messages to him and he was so excited. On our way home from his afterschool program I had to stop at the Grocery Store. He insisted on pushing his own cart. My little Man  Then he disappeared when it was time to check out.
I told the cashier that he was missing so she paged him over the intercom. She also wished him a Happy Birthday! He was thrilled. He loved his Banana Cream Pie and all his clothes. One of the shirts I got him was a Superman shirt. He has one which is a 4T size. He is now a boys size 6, but refused to give up the old one because he needed a new Superman shirt. He finally agreed to let me shred the old one.
I also got him a Pirates of the Caribbean t-shirt because that is his favorite ride at Disney. He also got a Spiderman shirt and a bunch of others. His presents from his father  & Grandparents haven't arrived yet. He didn't even talk to Ryan yesterday. My Ex told me he mailed it out yesterday Next Day Air.... So much for that. He knew Ryan's B-day was coming up. Nothing like waiting until the last possible moment.
Gail, I usually buy one size bigger in t-shirts so he can wear them for a while. Ryan gets very attached to his clothes. But if he doesn't like something he hides it in the back of his closet. This was a long hard year for Ryan, with his surgery and MRI and a bunch of other things. I hope his 8th year is easier for him. |

Ryan's presents arrived late this morning. So he will be opening them later tonight when he gets home. I am 100% positive he will think it's his Birthday again
