My new vet sells the meds directly from the office, but the prices for a 6 month supply are 15%- 20% more. My vet also makes it hard with prescriptions since she only writes for 6 months at a time, so I have to go to get the script renewed every time I need new meds. Thanks |

We buy Norman's meds through 1-800-PetMeds. They have good prices and send you a personalized catalogue with a sheepdog on the cover with your first order.
The prices seem to be about half of what we pay at the vet and our vet's prices are very reasonable. |
How does your vet react to sending the scripts out to be filled elsewhere? |
If they are new we get them filled for 2 weeks and then send out. They don't even flinch they just tell us that when we receive the med to confirm the name of the med on the bottle and the pill inside and make sure it's the same thing we've been getting from them.
The catalogue company is also very "easy" to get meds from. Most of the time you can just tell them the name of the med and the dosage and they send it right off. The medication has to be pretty hardcore for them to need paper documentation. |
